The 90s will always be a golden era in Hip-Hop. Biggie Smalls collaborating with the most dominant big man in the NBA is exactly the type of thing that the game needed. The story is as amazing as the track from Shaq's album.

FUN FACT - The connection between Shaq, Biggie & Michael Jackson. 1994 - Biggie's "Unbelievable" song from his debut "Ready To Die" samples R.Kelly's "Your Body's Calling". 1995 - Shaq appears on Michael Jackson's "2 Bad" from his "HIStory" album. 1995 - Biggie also appears on a Michael Jackson track. "This Time Around" from the same "HIStory" album. 1996 - Biggie appears on "You Can't Stop The Reign" with Shaq, dropping two verses. 2001 - Michael Jackson drops "Invincible" with "Unbreakable" initially meant to be the lead song. "Unbreakable" samples Biggie's "Unbelievable" and features a verse from Biggie taken from the second verse from his 1996 appearance on Shaq's "You Can't Stop The Reign".

MJ was rumoured to have talked to both pac and big about the beef; and wanted to get them together for a tripple collab ; that shit would have been GAME OVER for the rap game; i believe pac was even supposed to be on the Biggie and MJ collab called "This time around"
@djmontecarlotv

@@Makaveli13Xroy that’s False AF! Around the time when that supposedly beef was going on MJ was on tour the entire time with the Dangerous tour and doing almost every award show from 1995-1997 when MJ is focused on his career/musically he never listened to any other music, News, any other artist! That MJ x Biggie collab happened because of Dallas Austin (who wrote the song) and DJ premier. Smh you 2pac stans always trying to rewrite history.

@@bobbytrilla6733 I’m a hiphop fan. He doesn’t have enough material to stand the rest of time. His two albums aren’t so great that it’s greater than Pacs 5 or jays 13 etc.

3:33 That track that Biggie said Shaq's Name on was "Gimme the Loot", off his 1st Album🔥. Also the Part here where Shaq said Big said "Im Ready Right now"4:48, Big was Really LIKE That, he could Spit Right off the Top, On the Spot FACTS💯✊🏾. And True, Shaq was only rappin to hav "Fun w his Fav Artists" like he Said. He Neva claimed to be a "Legit Rapper".

There was an album in the 90's titled B-Ball's Best Kept Secret that had like a dozen NBA players rappin' - Cedric Ceballos, Malik Sealy, Jason Kidd, Dana Barros, Brian Shaw, Gary Payton, JR Rider, Chris Mills...Shaq was also on it! Today of course it seems like everybody in sports is/was rappin' at one time from Antonio Brown, Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones Jr., Marvin Bagley III, Aaron Gordon to Tyron Woodley, Lou Williams, Damian Lillard, Iman Shumpert, Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant etc. There are sooo many...Shaq to me is the best among them though! Oh and I don't know if you guys had seen that commercial where Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and a bunch of others were rappin' haha that was bad but very funny! :D
