Yeah I almost forgot about it. Probably the first mmorpg I played. It’s insane how crazy it was to be playing in a world with other players and chatting and nowadays that’s nothing special AT ALL

I remember i was a child who did not know a single word in english when i was playing this. All i did on this game was hop on a ship that used to do circles in the map, i have no idea why, but i found traveling in that ship super entertaining, i didn't even fought monsters, i was just chilling with other players

I was born in 1994, this December I'll turn 30...Life kinda threw some major curveballs at me that i wasn't the least bit prepared for...I remember the simple times,no major issues in life. Playing Xbox 360 with my gamer buddies i met playing halo 2.we would play mw2,code,halo3,left 4 dead,black ops 1&2… Man.. I miss those days so much my eyes got teary writing this.. One love everyone ❤ Don't neglect your mental health King's & Queens 👑❤ My version of heaven is a place i can go to relive these memories as if they were happening for the first time. Send me back to the innocent days before we lost some loved ones. Before we had to grow up, before we knew what the struggle being alone was like.. I know I'll be patiently waiting for the chance to go back. I'd do anything to feel that innocent happiness again.❤

I used to play SWD when I was 7yo back in 2011-2012, it was fun to socialize with people, probably the funniest part of the game. Then in late 2019 I came back and met members from an old clan called Heart Warriors (AD GLORIAM HW!!! xD). I joined them and had the same good times as I had in 2011. We all still talk every single day, and we even play other games and watch movies together. From time to time we log in just for the good old days xD

I am one of many that used to play this game a ton back in the day, like early 2000's up until like 2010. I remember where they had servers (Ruby/Sapphire and Emerald), amulets and etc. I do agree that the social aspect was one of the best part of Sherwood Dungeon. I often think about it and still talk to some of the friends I made before I had went to highschool. (I'm 29 years of age, as of now.). I would love to see Gene Enrody do something with it. This was the game you would play because a monthly payment to WoW wasn't an option, lol.

I was obsessed with this game and other Maid Marian MMOs throughout my entire childhood. I would actually frequently go to the site to discover other MMOs too, they used to put ads about different games and the beauty of it was that back then, those ads were legit! No scams or fake advertizing, they showed the actual game and would redirect you to a safe site. It's how i discovered Wonderland Online, Zu Online, Martial Heroes, Mythwars II and even Godswar. Those were amazing times, and im so sad to see the site gone. 2005~2008 was peak Sherwood for me.

When he talked about “everyone loved to play it for the social hub, not even because there was anything to do but just to login and be around people” just reminded me of club penguin. A game where there was stuff to do but you could spend HOURS just talking to people standing there doing nothing

I played to this game since the beggining and yes, the only thing who kept this game alive, its the communauty. A lot of fun , storyline , war , clash , mini game etc etc created by the communauty so it was fun but then ppl left the game so it was less fun

Sherwood dungeon, at the current stage, looks like a poor amalgamation of modern mobile game and an archaic MMORPG Game. The fortnite'y style of icons, new character models that look like some kind of medieval vampire-emo warriors. I remember being disappointed with the Twilight forest biome update back in, if I recall correctly, 2010-2011? Now it is much worse. I wish I could go back to 2009 sherwood...

This game was really god in that old days, nowadays its looks like bullshit, pvp topic is shit level is not working for anything its not even matter what is ur level in pvp or for exp farming its not changing anything. This game was good cuz of players and community

I feel like this vid is mostly just you saying how you didn't like the game. Which like, isn't really an answer to the vid title, it's more of an answer to "was Sherwood any good?" or "Why I can't even with this game" or something. So, leaving a dislike for the bait and switch, but still enjoyed the vid as you're well spoken and it's a fun game to remember (I never did any clan stuff so I'm no big defender of it, but just one I think of fondly in that lol what even was that sense).
