If we're being honest, what Shikamaru did was evil. He manipulated a situation by explicitly endangering the life of someone he could easily protect for the express purpose of emotional blackmail. If everything that Konoha has done for the Feudal Lord isn't enough to gain his favor for a righteous cause, he's a bad Feudal Lord, and emotional blackmail might not work on him in that case.

But stil shikamaru that 1% chance of failure is still risky especially since your using your feudal lord only child as a pawn. Yeah. That's why when people bring up this novel I point out this is why you can't read summaries. The novel has clear markers of time, the early part of the novel is in the days after Momoshiki attacked and then there's a time jump. Boruto's anime makes it seem like a longer jump than it is, similar to how Naruto's anime made the 3 month time skip feel super long because of the 80 filler episodes before Jiraiya left with Naruto. There's a bigger gap between the Mujina arc and the Vessel arc, several months. Momoshiki to Mujina isn't a big gap

Sasuke's Mindset during the war had solid points. Large nations, and smaller countries won't think about fighting each other EVER if they had a world ending opponent to unite the minds of every individual to cease all espionage and aggression towards each other. If world peace is to be obtained and maintained every individual has to adopt selflessness ans uphold it. The idea of the self-serving mindset would have to be eradicated or nearly not even exist.

I've said it before, Ikemoto himself isn't the one who decides what volume the manga ends, that's gonna be on Shueshia...similar to how Kishimoto thought he had another volume left for Naruto but they told him the date the manga was gonna end and to wrap it up(I've got the official interview and magazine scans. I'll end up doing a video on it) Boruto is a top 100 shonen jump manga in terms of all time sales. Consistently does 130-160k per volume. I could see it going past 30 volumes just based on the story progression so far but I don't think it goes past 40 on the high end.

there won't be a Boruto part 2 manga. Naruto was one series in manga format, even though the anime had two parts. Boruto is gonna end up being the same. Dragon Ball is one big manga. Viz Media sells it as Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z b/c the Z name is more well known in the west. In Japan it's just dragon ball manga from goku as a kid to Goku leaving with Uuub. Naruto at age 12 to Naruto becoming hokage. Boruto likely is the same case.

After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, Fused Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke and ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further and still lost 1v1 to KID Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods. 3. Base Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing Fused Momoshiki and punching him in the stomach, activated his jougan and countered Momoshiki's taijutsu which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(that was mixed with both Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat Fused Momoshiki. But the *FACT* remain that KID Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki 1v1 and held his own and won proving he's already Otsutsuki tier, it's not debatable.

Yes I do. Still the reason he’s doing it is because of Naruto’s naivety. Naruto looks at everyone who is down and out and sees himself in that person. Shikamaru’s actions are wrong off principle, however this is the type of shit you get when the system of power is in place as it is. The feudal lords have all the power because they have all the money.
