The fuck are you talking about? The seams on the shoulder should fall at or near the "corner" of the shoulder. That's the only rule. Everyone's body proportions are different. Some have longer torso's, some have shorter torso's so basing the fit of a jacket off where it falls on the belt line is assinine. Shoulder seams on any jacket whether it be an overcoat, blazer, suit jacket, bomber, denim jacket, etc will tell you how the jacket fits. Everything else should fall in line in terms of fitment.
