Agree, while I didn't check his affiliate links, I checked local (cheap) clothing stores, and to get a polo-shirt in 100% cotton (I can't wear other fabrics against skin, causes irritation) you're looking at 80 quid minimum. Vs a simple T which is at MOST 15 quid. I also personally absolutely hate buttons and collars (They annoy me).
@SknCommonLisper23 күн бұрын
@@briangallagher6320 He's talking from the perspective of changing your style \ wardrobe, NOT from buying a singular shirt. We already have formal wear for formal\special events, we're here for casual\everyday wear. For that, 100 quid isn't 100 quid, it's actually 700 quid. You need (realistically) 7 shirts, 100*7 = 700 quid. For 700 quid, I can literally get all the rust underneath my car removed professionally, AND have it rust-proofed for the next 4 years. 700 quid is INSANE. This doesn't even touch on anything else, like pants that'd be extra. Reasonable would be 25 quid for shirts, and 40 quid for pants. That's 175 + 160 (you dont' need more than 4 pants I'd argue) = 335 quid to replace your wardrobe. That's reasonable. 700+ is not.

Good butt hugging high waist jeans with wide legs are every bit as comfy as lounge wear. 2 rules for jeans: never lycra, and never too low too get that butt crack peek out without a belt. Lycra ruins comfort, as it allows to slide into way too snug models, and it heats up your crotch, probably even worse if you are the balls carrying half of mankind, but for us it is no picknick either if we have a period.

All these looks are great, and I’m 39, but in my personal experience I’d wear all these to « impress ». These clothes wouldn’t make me comfortable and that’s not because of their materials and style which are made to reach that goal, they’re just not what I - want - to wear. Even though the fabrics and all are designed to be « comfortable » I wouldn’t be. I like sportswear. And « I don’t care what people think » (as you say) of me. Sure I do like to impress once in a while, and on a daily basis I prefer like tracksuits and all… IMO there isn’t just 3 « categories » casual / comfortable / classy - or classy has several meanings because « classy » should mean what you find yourself attractive in… and that is way more important in everyday life

I will share a secret with you... Uniqlo U extra heavy weight T-shirt do not show your nipples thru even in white under bright sun. If you want relaxed fit, buy true to size (for me it is M - 179cm tall) but if you work out and you cut all the way down to no love handles and not a lot of belly fat... buy one size smaller (S for me) for that tailored look. Whoever designed cut of that T should get a huge raise. True to size is more relaxed but not baggy at all and one size smaller on muscular frame still has enough room under arm pits, still has enough fabric around chest, sleeves are hugging arms but not so tight it is uncomfortable and they are great around waist and torso even at 12% body fat without looking like you are wearing something you bought when you were 12. And they are 15€.... FIFTEEN. Kudos Uniqlo.

Some of the comments I see many have no concept of respect for themselves or others. I'm not surprised.

So I’m pretty comfortable the way I am. I feel like the worst investment is clothing. And that’s not to say you should look bummy, you should 100% take care of yourself and buy nice clothes. But style forever changes and to keep up to date with it, is the poor investment part of it. I speak for myself but I dress normal and comfortably. As I got older I stopped exessivly caring what people think. And I had no issues getting girls and now am married to a beautiful woman. And have money to invest on things that matter like a house. Each to their own but I like to be me. Not try to look like someone I’m not.

👕 Stop Dressing Like a Teenager: If you're not a teenager anymore, it's time to stop dressing like one. 💼 Casual Does Not Mean Sacrificing Style: You can be casual, comfortable, and stylish all at once. 🚫 Avoid Common Fashion Mistakes: Tight jeans, t-shirts with designer logos, and running sneakers are not stylish or comfortable. 👔 Upgrade Your Casual Wear: Opt for relaxed or tapered t-shirts over tight ones. Consider polos instead of basic t-shirts for a casual yet classy look. 🌿 Try Linen Shirts: Linen is lightweight, breathable, and perfect for a classy, comfortable look in warm weather. 🧥 Choose the Right Sweaters and Jackets: Go for thinner Merino wool sweaters instead of sporty sweatshirts. Lightweight bomber jackets and sports jackets can elevate your style. 🧶 Cardigans as Versatile Layers: Easily dress up or down with cardigans for a mature and stylish look. 👖 Better Pants Choices: Swap jeans and sweatpants for nice trousers or linen pants for more comfort and style. Avoid distressed denim and ensure jeans fit well. 👟 Classier Footwear: Replace running sneakers with classier sneakers or loafers. Choose shoes that match the overall outfit and avoid overly slim or overly chunky options. 💍 Accessorize Wisely: Follow the "rule of three" for accessories: no more than three pieces at a time. Opt for simple, classy accessories like a watch, ring, and sunglasses. ✂ Tailoring is Key: Make sure your clothes fit properly, including getting pants hemmed if necessary. 🕶 Consider Hairstyling: Keep a classy hairstyle and avoid relying on hats too much. Use quality hair products to maintain your look.
