Indian couples financial fights are different. My spouse pours in lots of money for his well settled married sister. Minmum 10k for every festival. Plans gold scheme for his mom but doesn't pay our daughters school fee. Collects 50% from me for every we vacation we go together. And he assumes i am responsible for all household chores, including kids school fee, insurance premiums etc

The personal account is much smaller for the partner who earns less and normally puts in more effort in the house.
