He's entertaining, but he only contributes to the noise through constantly playing the contrarian, flip flopping on a stand he took only a week ago, then playing the contrarian about the other side of whatever debate he flared on about previously. I feel bad that Whitey can't drink anymore, having to suffer through day after day of Simon bloviating ad nauseam.

My issue with Simon Jordan is on several levels: his analysis is very inconsistent, and he regularly contradicts himself. In fact he describes Roy Keane as playing a "pantomime villain" i.e. making reference that he plays up to the "bad boy" antagonistic "character" that appears on tv.....but I would describe Jordan himself as precisely that also. He contradicts himself further by bemoaning the amount of media coverage Man Utd receive (undeservedly in his view), then proceeds to have a 30 min special on his podcast with Souness dedicated to "whats gone wrong at Man utd!".....you can't make this stuff up, can you? Furthermore, he may well be intelligent & quick witted..but i would advise a little more humility from his analysis of other peoples failures and successes, given his abject failure as a club owner at Palace....those in glass houses etc etc etc
