Yeah Mick is definitely the death metal guy in the band. I watched an interview where he was saying that he tells his students to check out this death metal band, not sure if he's still a guitar teacher since I am not from the states let alone Iowa

Sounds great! I agree with the other commenter that mentioned the chorus sounds a lot like Soilwork - it could be straight off of Natural Born Chaos. Don't sweat not being able to match Corey - you can change your guitar pickups, but you can't change your vocal chords!

I grew up listening to lots of Korn and Slipknot and your vocals have a very Jonathan Davis sound and paired with this amazing Slipknot track, it is one of the most badass songs i have heard in years!! Thanks you for doing what you do Trey. Keep it up!!

From the demos I've heard, the bass player "V-Man" has a preset on the Omega DSP. I think that preset sounds better than the Mick Thomson one.
