In todays society if anyone can show you a better eating lifestyle as appose to the proccessed foods we are subjected to because of big corporations placing so many chemicals in our food its a blessing for someone to come along and show us how to eat to live better and longer !

ordering food from the grocery store and having it delivered has really helped me stay on task. I make a weekly meal plan from online meals and meal plan and then order directly. Costs $5 to have food delivered. About the same as gas really.

Less miles on your car as well

Very good talk. Unfortunately, we have made mealtime an activity that can been done in between daily activities, like soccer practice and band practice, etc. that people put more importance in. A car is not a kitchen table. Small changes are easy, and very beneficial. What people need to change is their attitude towards eating.

Good message but a judgemental overtone

I too noticed a little arrogance in her message, particularly in her rage toward that mom giving her kid the Gatorade. "Maybe she didn't know any better." There are many systemic issues that play a role in people's access to healthy food and their nutritional decision making.

Why do funny cat videos have over 10x (and probably greater than that) more views than this video? This was so good I actually commented (which I hardly do)

Why do you need to negotiate with your kids about highly processed foods? It should be simply not a point of negotiation. In fact parents should be the ones who educate and guide their kids in whats good and what is not good and it shouldn’t be a negotiation subject simply educate themselves first and then their kids. It is a simply “I’m sorry but this isn’t good for your body’s health. Talk with them according to their age and level of understanding why certain food is not good for him o her.

Sometimes it's peer pressure and social culture as well (e.g more dessert parlours and takeaways opening than ever before. Supermarkets selling loads of this junk. The actual food itself being very addictive, like sweet foods). Not easy for health conscious parents when outside influences undo what the parents are trying to teach their kids

My biggest concern - you don’t have a problem with your child cooking with hot oil? They can help you cook but really??
@arealoldname84616 жыл бұрын
When I visit relatives abroad, kids there are cooking with hot oil no problem. Good training, adequate supervision and good, old-fashioned practice seems to work!
@diddlebob445 жыл бұрын
I freaked out when I saw that precariously placed pot of hot oil in front of a little kid so much so that I fast forwarded to the talk. I do appreciate all of her efforts and concerns, but I think there's a simpler way, than making such a production out of food preparation.
