tiny changes matter a lot. At the same goal setting is effective. Both may have a correlation or positive association. It may vary from person to person.

The app demonstration at the end was so good and so creative. Well done James. For those who haven't read Atomic Habits yet, do so now! I guarantee you, it will be the least thing you are going to regret. The book is worth the time and money for sure.

if you could be be 1% every day then 1) you will quickly realize that if you have 10 goals or activities that this means you have 10% more to do each day.. so every week doubles the amount of effort and time so after 10 weeks you are doubling effort and time.. after seven more you have doubled again 3.5 weeks the same so in 20 weeks you are working and putting in 6x the time and effort- in other words your 40 hour week is now 240 hours. his logic and reasoning is pitiful at best. Or maybe you just get better without putting in more time and effort..which literally NO ONE has done. 2) people are not blocks or apples or machines that can be scaled up infinitely. 3) there is also a newtonian idea called the asymptote which is a line that can be approached but is never reached and in fact as you approach you go more and more slowly until progress is infinitesimal. for example take the space between 1and 2.. now add 1/10 to it , then 1/100, then 1/1000 and so on. you are 'improving " to your goal but the pace rapidly slows to almost nothing, and it can never reach its goal. - so if you apply newtons laws of physics to human behavior you rapidly wind up in a cluster. .

each time you write.. you can be a bad writer.. a lousy musician.. focused practice to a desired goal with feedback and mentors are the only way. this is claptrap meant to sound easy and sell books.
