I am an 18 year old last-year high school student in Mississauga, Canada 🇨🇦. Next year, I plan on going to the University of Waterloo for International Development, which involves social entrepreneurship, which is why this video is very dear to me. Thank you to all those who worked together to put this video together.

It’s awesome to see college students with a passion and heart to serve - leveraging their business skills to go immediately from theorizing to iterating on their ideas. Brilliantly done and very well spoken!

Watching these VIDEOS , I have come to the conclusion that this is the place where I belong . My numerous attempts to establish a business the normal way has utterly failed. And these failures, although they were too painful to appreciate, and too expensive to deal with; I now realize that this was, and still is my ROAD MAP to Social Entrepreneurship. I have always been driven by having too many business ideas into my head, but not knowing the right route out there, has been the biggest problem for me, as I have found out for myself to be the case. Travelling on this journey to find my destination (SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP) I NOW DO NOT REGRET any of the problems I suffered, and such an experience will make me a better Entrepreneur, than without IT - HALLELUIAH !!!

Charles, I am working on a set of resources to help people become social entrepreneurs. I was looking for a way to find out what people needed out there and I stumbled across your content. Could you share more a little more about your struggle and are you open to corresponding about it?

Hope you will succeed with your choice. Keep remember: Failure has its meaningful value. Failure makes you aware of where did you didn't good, and you can avoid them in the next round! Keep coming! Universe always beside you, hear you and give you opportunities, but these things always show up with the name which always makes people fear: the risks, the failure. Sorry for my vocab and grammar (i'm Vietnamese). ^^". Hope now and in the future would have a lot of social entrepreneurs like you! I would love to become a social entrepreneur, but i must learn about this field first@@ kk.

I think this is a lovely young woman and unlike any USC graduate I’ve met. I do think she needs to rethink the role of capitalism is solving poverty, it’s done the opposite and greed has fueled this crisis. Bernie Sanders educated the masses on how to lift poverty and it’s just a tiny wealth tax on people who would not notice it.

Sorry, I’m not normally a critic, but when people selected a Genie to find them a Mentor, was it not possible that they just didn’t want to directly say...I want a mentor? I hope that I’m wrong, because if I was anxiously looking for a Human mentor, and I got an Alexa bot...I would be despondent and distraught. I love the rest and at lest the goal of helping. But just want people to think twice about certain assumptions 😃

Sorry I’m just not interested in making money off the poor.

It's not about 'the poor', just like pound and dollar stores have enabled more wealth to move globally.
