I took his soil science class at the u of mn and he was hands down the best teacher I have ever had. Very passionate and knowledgeable. During his lectures you couldn't help but be intrigued and moved by his words.

Probably the most inspiring words I have heard spoken about soil. Beautiful on many levels. Should be seen by everyone who eats and breathes.

Well delivered, Nic. The soil is such a treasure we should cherish and conserve jealously. I enjoyed listening to your presentation.

impressive talk, you delivered it so well! I love your palm notes too :) I will be using this, or segments of this, in some Permaculture workshops I will be hosting in Saskatchewan, a very agriculturally-based province in canada. Despite this soil-based foundation, we are unaware of our connection with soil. I may just go dig a hole..
