Thank you so much for this information. I am getting a dachshund puppy. He isn’t from a breeder, he is from a friend of my daughter in law’s, who’s dog had puppies. He will be turning 8 weeks the day before I get him, and she will not be getting him any shots. I’ve already made the vet appointment, but I didn’t think to take him beforehand to be introduced to the vet, staff, and office. Great tip!
