wow this is me !! very fun to see someone breakdown my thought process after the fact!! I'm on the the grind for a much more optimal run, as frankly a lot of my reroll RNG towards the end was a bit atrocious! For the homing shots, we usually dont grab more than 2 chip's because at that point our shots might not go to where we want them too, in case you were wondering! You dont use your special much, so booyah bomb or splashdown could be used to reach the key in layered rotator a liiiittle bit faster. Just a funny idea for microoptomizations lol :]

yeah, i did a casual run with a similar build, and put too much homing shots on it... it became really annoying to shoot the tops of walls, as it would just attach onto anything nearby. The max quick charge charger is so much fun though.

You can go beyond that. I got the blaster fire rate to be faster than the grizzco. Drained a full tank in barely over a second. I was not granted any ink saver main in that run despite trying to roll for it. The bullets get shapes

You can also make grizzco blaster with 4 fire rate chips or 5 for a op blaster

i kinda didnt take a break on day 1!! day 2 I relaxed and did some grinding with older slower brush strats and pivoted to charger strats on day 3!

If you want to have fun, use big man’s kit. Acquire splat bombs, lucky bombs, sub saver, and everything that helps your explosives do more damage. Disclaimer: this will not work without tri strike.

Counterpoint: use Blaster because 1. common tones include Splash Damage/Radius 2. It also buffs your indirects 3. Main Fire Speed.

Nah, it works pretty well with booyah bomb as well. In fact, using special charge up, mobile special charge, and lots of splash radius up, and you can clear entire stages in one booyah.

30 minutes would average to 1 minute per level, The bosses definitly account for a large part of time.

Nothing will be as good as chargers for speedrunners, but if you don’t like charger then there are leaderboards for all the different weapons

Agreed, I want to see a speed run WITHOUT hacks…no re-rolling floors, play the choices you’re given, and no extra vending machines (is that a hack or lucky rng?). A friend told me about this 5 minute run and I said “that’s impossible”…well, clearly as we see here it’s possible…but the hacks and all those vending machines really made that time possible…I’m amazed how OP that charger can be after just a few chips.

You say this might just be the god run, but just you wait. RNG can get even more insane than this, and runners can get to levels beyond the comprehension of even some former top runners. At one point, homing shots won't even be necessary. I'd say we have roughly another half minute barrier to break before we reach peak, if not a full minute barrier.

My best time on any floor is 16 seconds. And my best performance is playing splat zones in the dark wihthout items in an ink covered dual-zoned level for 21 minutes and 21 seconds!
