This is how I do maples buried treasure lol: 1. Spawn on a beach 2. Know that I’m not gonna get a shipwreck 3. Go to 9 9 in a chunk nearby 4. Don’t find a chest 5. Reset the run Great video though! I’ll definitely see how I can use proper maples buried treasure. :)

Great tutorial, make sure that when digging down, you are in the 'beach' biome, as that is the only biome in which buried treasure can spawn.

Not quite, i also thought that too. If u have a forest biome (for example) in the 9 - 9, but it's 1 block away from beach, apparently it can still spawn, happened to me yesterday and I was confused af 💀

Let me just say that your video quality ist that of a million-sub channel, and it helped a lot! It left me with one question though: Would using "game renderer" instead of "tick" not also be beneficial for Pie-raying nether fortresses? That way you could just check the correct direction by spinning, and don't have to adjust your render distance and check every direction separately

no, the percentages (how big the slice of pie is) gets really weird at higher render distances. this also shows all block entities together in 1 pie section, meaning chests (from fortresses, bastions and ruined portals in the nether) would also be included and you'd have no way to differentiate them.

hey, for mapless treasure my f3 doesn't show the chest part of the pie graph when I go through GameRenderer ---> level ---> entities ---> there isn't the option for block entities. I'm using fabric with sodium, lithium, and phosphor, so could one of those three be affecting it?

I use fabric with all the same mods, what version are you using? cause it should work 100% with 1.16.1 (the version all speedrunners currently use)

Does optifine and other performance mods mess with the pie chart? I tried to find a village with all sorts of them and the bell was still showing up even though i lowered my render distance to 2 and reopened it.

idk if optifine messes with it, I don't think it would. If you are speedrunning, optifine is banned so most speedrunners use the fabric launcher to run 'sodium' and a few other performance mods. As for stuff still showing on your pie chart after refreshing and being at 2 RD, if the village bell is only like 5 chunks away the pie chart will still show it cause its too close, idk why it happens tbh it's something to do with rendering. one thing more advanced runners do if the block entity is stuck on their pie, they just leave the game and rejoin and it gets rid of it until you increase your RD again.

pressing the numbers 1 - 9 brings you forward, if at any point you want to go back just press 0. you can see this just above the pie chart where it says "root" so if you have it setup for mapless treasure but you're now in the nether looking for spawners, just spam 0 to go all the way back hope this helps :D

This is great and all, but for 2k monitors, unless you minimise your game window, the slice of the piechart we're interested in is extremely thin, so it difficult to detect a chang to it's breadth.
