I gotta be honest... with my big mouth, I need beef like this with a commentary KZbinr. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of the insults I write. I say things Dave Chappelle would be beaten by his wife for (jokes) and tho I can get a bit unhinged, I'm still more mentally there than twomad. Speaking of twomad, I'm supposed to get mans back in his pod before his serotonin runs out. See clones need to have their brain chemicals replenished by taking a two week bath. Considering he doesn't bathe at all, it's clearly time to get man in a tank so he can regain awareness of consensus reality. Man's about to break rule one of the SCP verse he's straight seeing other realms

Low key I remember a time where I thought others were a way they weren't, and judged them. But I learned I was wrong, changed. Do you notice we despite changing come back on the same issues... they don't stop. Is there a different approach? Perhaps we should just be happy to be alive, take the small things and make them seem more enjoyable. Ignore the darkness. Find it inside and destroy it. Be bigger than it. It is possible for these people to realize they were wrong... we need to tell people that just because they were wrong to say things a certain way, doesn't mean their bad. It seems that I sense someone who was trying to protect their brand when it wasn't nessisaey. We need them to not feel as if they can't wake up. We have to accept when they admit they are wrong... there's just a problem, spoctor seems from what I've seen as desperate to dodge controversy... same feeling when an opponent is thinking about being evasive, it's clear from their movements and actions. He tried to play the field his way knowing it was wrong... we can't then trust him to be intelligent and honest now can we? Thoughts?

God, nothing pisses me off more then this idea of like -- How so many people interpret suicide as being selfish. Peaches didn't hurt anyone but herself. Being scared for her well being is NOTHING compared to what she must have been dealing with, and trying to spin it by saying, " Oh no, but think about the people who read that tweet and felt bad! "I was 16, she was 13, that's only a 3 year age gap" Yes, a girl fresh out of elementary school who probably started puberty only a couple of years ago, being in a relationship with a guy midway through high school is _perfectly normal,_ Spoctor. I hope he knows it's not just about the amount of years, and moreso about the maturity and life experience.

For real. I'm 16 and, to me, the difference between me and a 13 year old is so glaringly obvious. We're not equals, mentally at least. It's hard for me to imagine being friends with them because of that. And being _attracted_ to them is completely off the table. Ew.

It reminds me of when cartoons have a younger kid crush on a much older girl (e.g., an adolescent and a teenager), where-in the younger kid doesn't realize how creepy and weird it is. Said shows usually don't make it official, because of how obviously questionable that relationship dynamic is, for the reasons you stated. Spoctor lived that dynamic out in real life and saw nothing wrong with it, even soliciting nudes and storing them on a flash drive. It'd be one thing if they were the same age, exchanged nudes, and just forgot that they did that, but he literally downloaded and stored them on an external device. Even in a regular relationship that'd be kind of odd behavior.

Wait how does schooling work where you are if a 13 year old is ‘fresh out of elementary school’? Where I’m at, that’s bordering on high school. 8th grade is the last year of middle school, and kids are 13 then - 9th grade is the first year of high school, kids are 14 then. I’m aware that different countries have different groupings and ages for each year of school, so that’s why I’m wondering

I kinda get it. With some people in the CC being overly emotional or judgemental, it would've been nice to have someone be chill and try to apply nuance/benefit of doubt to some situations. He fumbled hard when it came to the Hopeless Peaches and Hiten situations, though. Deadass, it's not even like most of those creators simply dipped after handling a situation really poorly. They usually had some kind of crazy event that made them look less than reputable, to say the least. CreepshowArt? Participated in a long-lasting harassment campaign against someone for over a decade. Kai Weiss? Was alledgedy abusive towards Omnia and went to court/jail. Junkie? Lied about Hiten and almost ruined her social life and mental wellbeing with barely an ounce of remorse. Spoctor? Had pornographic pics of a minor on a flash drive. Even Camila Cueves, someone that wasn't even in the CC, got called out for fostering a predator on a server full of minors for an extended period of time. It's genuinely insane how so many people that was involved in the Hopeless Peaches situation had their reputations utterly decimated over the course of a year or two.

Given personal relationships are by far one of the strongest lifeboats for people with mental health issues, telling somebody who is _actively suicidal_ to "fix themselves" before they try to connect with others again is legitimately _rancid._ While it might not "fix" things, having a strong support system to fall back on is often the difference between life and death. The hopeless peaches drama was a low bar of empathy. Similar to the "can you put your shopping cart away" test. Anyone can call themselves a good person or take a moral high ground on big issues, but its the small things that prove whether they are consistent or even honest. That's what this was. Hopeless peaches was in a situation where the two best options were to say nothing or to support. MANY commentary/creators proved that their consistency wasn't about being moral, truthful, or defending others. It was about being critical, with the side effect of seeming moral.

Gotta love how Spoctor's take on Peaches defending herself was literally just "have you tried just being quiet while everyone's slandering your name?" Like god, that just makes no fucking sense, and it shouldn't have made sense back then. If people are spreading misinformation about you, you absolutely should be defending yourself. Dogpiling on someone and repeating the popular opinion just to save face should not be your go-to. The Peaches drama was a failure on nearly every level, because most people didn't look too closely at the evidence being presented and just automatically assumed that Peaches was in the wrong. It shouldn't have taken Creepshow getting exposed on lolcow to convince everyone to back the fuck off.

One is fresh out of grade school, while the othet is a year away from planning which colleges to apply to in the next year. He should have never had a "fling" with that girl to begin with. exactly, so many people only focus on the numbers themselves and not the experiences attached to those numbers, and it's dumb. plus people think if you're still a minor that means you can date a minor of any other age, 15 and 18 is something way less people would attempt to defend but it's the same amount of age difference, yet bc one is 18 for some reason people view it differently. they're both wrong.

@@jasperjazzie Yes! It seems like a lot of people don't know how to contextualize age and life experience at all and it's wild to me. Then again I had some really good people in and around my life. In this case I had a really cool Bio teacher that decided to sideline our discussion about plant cells with a quick lesson on ethics and dating, because there were rumors he cock blocked one of the football team players. I guess one of his freshman students in another class was dating a senior (the football player) and, because he's a good guy, notified the dean of students, parents, and school guidance counselor to talk it out and get things sorted out appropriately. But he asked how many of us thought age was "just a number" and we all proceeded to engage in a very interesting discussion about what is and isn't appropriate. Ultimately it parsed down to "that student just got out of middle school, and the other is going to go to university on a sports scholarship". The class was really quiet afterwards. He gave us all a lot to think about.

In an earlier call, Hopeless Peaches and LioConvoy tried to confront him, only for him to just spew random noise into his mic and eventually run off. It was basically an online version of the "la la la, I'm not listening." Then you have the call where he admits to being in that suspect relationship with a 13 year-old as a 16 year-old, where-in he brushes criticisms off and laughs off how serious it is. In isolation, I'd be able to dismiss the call with his friends as nerves and coping, but put together with everything else it paints him as a irresponsible, spineless snake. I don't know if he feels sorry about what he did, but he probably has no interest in taking accountability either way. Dismissing it as "being horny and stupid", "it's only a 3 year age-gap", "it was a fling", etc., is just downplaying the issue. You don't get to do that when you've gone after people for much less, and have often been shown to knowingly lie about things with no proper rebuttal or apology.

Same with his ADHD video. He was very obviously, glaringly misinformed on the online neurodivergent community as a whole, with a weird unearned superiority complex despite being an outsider of said community. I don't care if he supposedly has ADHD himself, he still hurt others with the same disorder and didn't think twice on how tone-policing neurodivergent people with struggles much larger than his would come off. That's pretty much when I dropped him. It was pretty obvious to me then that he never belonged here.

@@paigemosher8697 / I don't see many people bring up the issues with the ADHD video as much. He's said he's had ADHD for quite a while if I remember, but regardless he basically just said. "Well I have ADHD and I haven't had these traits, so you guys must be lying or wrong" Which essentially is like saying people can only have one experience with ADHD... Some of the stuff he said isn't true to ADHD, is some of the stuff I've experienced with my own ADHD (ADD as it was formerly known, but I think they changed it) One example of things he said people who experience ADHD don't experience is spacing out. He said people with anxiety can space out but not people who just have ADHD. And as someone who has both spacing out during panic and spacing out due to ADHD are very different experiences. They're not the same. There are some other ones but I don't remember those points clearly. Would go over them more if I could.

I saw people making false r@pe accusations getting less backlash than her, despite her making one comment that wasn't her place, a comment which didn't shift the drama and her positive comment on jars terrible video also didn't really had an impact cause the ACC got three targets to jump at (let's be honest the Toby drama was basically that). A problem with commentary is the propensity to turn real people into villain characters that they can farm content out of. This has happened naturally at times for some people. My hate towards Spoctor started with his "what counts as animation" video if I remember the title right, because rather than just explain this concept properly and handle explaining the styles of animation, he basically made the video to bash and hate on Vocaloid music videos. It disgusted me so much as a Vocaloid fan to see someone use an educational and frankly interesting topic as a trojan horse to bash an entire community for simply existing. So when he pulled all this shit, I frankly was not surprised. It felt so in-character based on what I'd seen of him to use meaningful topics as trojan horses to say horrible things

From my perspective he was a smart and promising individual ruined by a heart of cowardice. He ran away from the drive drama because he was scared of the criticism, and likewise he jumped onto the Peaches hate bandwagon to cover himself behind a community of crucifiers. If he had just come out and faced the allegations and tool responsibility for his actions everything would've been ok. But instead he succumbed to his fear and took on the position of an accuser so he himself would not be accused. I dislike cowards, they are the people with potential for good but let bad things happen before their very eyes or perpetuate those bad things themselves. Even still I cannot bring myself to hate him, I see a man barley into adulthood who has been traumatized by an awful community and has receeded into its grip as a result. I really hope that he comes out and owns up for all his terrible decisions so he can move on from the commentary community for good.

I still remember how people were still coming to defense of Spoctor once he released his video on Peaches drama... I was mostly appaled due to one thing back then - for me it was clear that Peaches and Tobi were both victims of targeted effort to crush their channels. Omnia made a comment at end of one of her videos to people defending Tobi that they should stay out or "they will end up like their little friend" (seriously, how everyone just mentioned that, and did not dig deeper is a mystery to me, though must give it to Kaii, he made her edit video and took the line out, but many people already noticed it and made mention of it in their videos). Spoctor was in same situation. Three creators made a Discord channel and tried to fuck him over. And if PKrussl or Ponder who were at forefront of whole thing decided to ignore evidence they came upon he would be literally fucked. With capital fucking F. Years after that Spoctor finds himself in PKRussl/Ponder shoes, heck he did not had to do any digging. He was literally handed evidence he could use to help Peaches. And what did he do? He decided his place in the pecking order and current status quo of commentary community was more important. I really don't care about that murky CP drive thing, since we do not have any evidence he jacked off to that, it can be still explained as him being a dumbass. But him being such a fucking bitch when it came to helping someone in same fucking situation he was? Unaccaeptable, unforgiveable. Get that smug iguana on a stick, sent him to Gulag, and make him walk on the egg shells.
