He also suffers from a gastro disease called Barrett's Osophegus, which is severe damage to the lining of his osephogus (tube between mouth nad stomach) and this is often linked to damaged vocal cords due to excessive acid reflux. The fact that he has vomited way too many times to be healthy doesn't help either.
