It’s really cool that he looks back on his past with a mixture of regret and gratitude. He’s thankful to be where he is but realized he had problems and did something about it. I used to be this kind of drunk and I understand how bad it can get. 2 years sober now and finally getting my act together. Steve O inspires me. I saw that ep when it aired, and while I found Steve-o's particular brand of blotto, and Corrolla's visible discomfort, to be downright hilarious, I didn't fail to appreciate that 1. Corrolla was a total pro. 2. Steve-o was seriously hurting from a serious problem. I admire Steve-o's willingness to share footage of stuff that used to make him proud, but now makes him cringe, to present his story as a cautionary one. That takes bravery.
