Steve-O has turned out to be such an incredible human being. He has Concord sobriety and is able to look back on his darkest days and talk about it. Hey Steveo, I recently lost a close friend to substance abuse. We bonded over watching Jackass as kids. I wish I had started the conversation with him more about his addiction. Your story is inspirational to those who struggle with substance abuse. You could have been a good role model to my friend, demonstrating that sobriety is possible. It's too late to send inspiration his way. The one thing I have learned through his loss however is the importance of starting the difficult conversation with the people in our lives who struggle with addiction. Thank you for sharing your story. Vulnerability is difficult, but oh so important.
