Swoją drogą ..jak przeglądam ciekawostki takiego typu na KZbin to widziałem już wiele aut z Polski w Afryce. Niektóre jeszcze z naklejkami z firm. Do różnych państw tam trafiają.

Set up!!, As a real motor mechanic and someone who has worked on Mercedes many times, they have just undone the injector pipes and let air in the system, then tighten them up, which needs the engine to turn a few times to prime the system then all works ok. Plus the noise on tick over (a sort of low pitch rattle) is the pulley on the alternator which has seized, these engines need a one way pulley so the belt does not jump, in the end this engine will destroy the the belt and the tensioner after a few thousand Km's. if it's already done that by the sound of it.

Bake been are you REALLY a certified Mercedes tech….? If you’re certified then I need to quit my day job of nuclear engineer and pick up a 17mm spanner.
@SlimTortoise2 жыл бұрын
@@scottsmith5623 What you do to set this up is you crack the lines open or let air in the system before you film. Then start to film. It's as simple as that. Watch it again. Hope that helps. Btw what you think is not important me. I don't know you so you are irrelevant.

@Atlantic Thunder Because an engine needs to be at operating temperature in order to have the correct clearances for all the moving parts. Also the oil doesn’t work properly until it is warmed up to operating temperature. Otherwise the wear and tear on the parts is very high when revving it high, especially the turbo doesn’t like it at all
@nikosgreekman88122 жыл бұрын
@@starstencahl8985 Nah i doubt there will be wear on the engine they were made to take it, they are old diesel engines that are designed to be run hard for better reliability because if you baby these old diesels they tend to carbon build up fast which causes even more problems down the line compared to just revving it with no load. Upon revving you can hear that the engine sounds smooth and not rattly that means the oil is doing is job well , its not going to harm the engine that much doing it every now and then it will actually clean the oil channels and burn off deposits, but if you rev the hell out of it everyday then yes it will die faster.
@starstencahl89852 жыл бұрын
@@nikosgreekman8812 I was talking out revving it out WHEN COLD. Of course you can use them normally when they’ve already warmed up and are at operating temperature. But when you’ve just started them up for the first time of the day, you need to bring it up to temperature first, before flooring it
