"Strippers are only doing it for the money." As opposed to everyone else, who has a deep passion for doing taxes, accounting, serving at a restaurant, flipping burgers, etc and would totally do it for free. Like OBVIOUSLY YES MOST PEOPLE WORK FOR THE MONEY. 😂 Also I found it highly relatable, working in the service industry, that Lindsey was talking about how people perceive you as friends when they're actually clients. I've had so many clients refer to me as their friend because they love that I'm asking them about themselves and getting to know them, but they don't know hardly a thing about me. If the only time we see each other is when you're giving me money, we aren't really friends...😆

and then there's danger too. but then these days of shootings etc that's all jobs. at least a stripper's workplace has constant security. sometimes even guards that walk them out to their cars at the end of the night to make sure they're at least leaving the lot safely.

I danced on and off for 10 years. Started in Vegas & spend my last 2 years traveling all over the US. It has its highs and lows. It definitely provided a very lucrative lifestyle. Let’s just say it paid for 2 degrees, 3 homes, a Porsche & Lexus plus saved enough to put my kids through college when it’s time. It’s not all glitter & gold . Safety is definitely an issue. I know women who have been followed, robbed, came up missing, drugged etc. we have to be our OWN security at most times. I haven’t danced in years I’m a realtor & I do finance now. It’s kind of an over saturated industry. Would I do it again? Hell yeah that’s the beauty of it you can come and go as you please. If anyone has ?’s feel free to ask.

Them talking about how the face you put on, the personality you give off, being a factor in your success is sooo true. Being around clubs irl and also virtual clubs, your personality can make or break your success. Especially in irl clubs I've seen absolutely stunning and talented women, who just weren't "there" that night, so no smiles or interaction from them. As a result they didnt make much. But then you had women who on the street would be ignored for those others, but in that club they come at you with a smile and personality, so you're drawn in and just give them everything.

where i live you cannot touch dancers even in a private dance (which is usual for a lot of clubs ig) but also we have particularly strict laws. dancers are not allowed within three feet of the customer whether on stage or during a private dance so a lot of girls would travel here to work in these conditions which are opposite to other provinces like ontario which allow heavy contact.

If we're asking questions in a safe zone,, stripping is often associated with allure, sexiness and nudity right, but is there a possibility of going further than just stripping/dancing? Does it depend on the club/venue or is it always a strict no-go? Does it depend on the dancer's own preference? And if so, are there ever miscommunications between the stripper and the client on that front?, and if so How do you deal with that?
@Petrichorus-
@Petrichorus- Ай бұрын
Most clubs have rules that patrons are not allowed to touch the dancers. If any contact does happen, it’s either harassment or has been consented to by the dancer. Prostitution is illegal in most parts of the U.S. so I think it’s safe to say that most strippers are interested in being paid to dance and perform, not to have sex. As they said in the video, some strippers DM clients to build rapport with the goal of having clients return to the club where they work, not to work outside of the club. But anyone can correct me if I’m wrong.

The man stealing segment was low key triggering because I whole heartedly disagree and am fighting with my best friend over a similar situation. I have even higher expectations for them since the strippers are in a work setting. Be professional… I’ve been best friends w my current roommate for almost 10 years now but I don’t think it’s going to last… he said with his whole chest that he has knowingly slept with men in monogamous relationships and I literally had to leave the room. I just don’t understand how someone can have 0 empathy for the person is getting cheated on. I would be immediately turned off if a guy started flirting with me only to find out he promised to stay faithful to another human being. Idc why they are cheating, it’s wrong no matter what and I refuse to enable that behavior… it’s sad that my best friend doesn’t agree because I will not be friends with someone who straight up doesn’t care about other people’s well being or puts their needs over everyone else’s… he also admitted to stringing along his boyfriend for months… he kept telling me he want to go around and I kept telling him that he needs to end it with his bf and stop wasting his time… Long story short people need to stop hurting other people directly or indirectly… it’s wrong and the world will never change if everyone is just in it for themselves.

The male stripper starting at 18 after going to a club with his friends... Plus the mom being supportive from the start... That's a bit too early isn't it? Obviously it was his decision and he seems okay with it now, but being exposed to the s3 x industry and encouraged to join for money when that young, barely legal age? It's the same iffy feeling of women who join only fan 5 the day they are 18 because as teens they were shown how 'profitable' it was, without thinking of the long-term consequences. Would have been nice to have some older, maybe retired strippers in this video to hear from someone who had time to really digest it all.

My son was a professional cheerleader in high school, college and private!! Did Nationals and World!! Graduated from high school early...travel by plane alone at 4 y/o; worked at his father's various businesses...from 8 years up!! So if you knew his history...or his parents you'd know the difference!! Definitely not your average person ❤and he's a WOODS!! 💯🫶🏽😊

you're thinking 18 still in high school some students. not 18 already graduated because the 18th falls after graduation day. and the graduate's already pondering where to go after.

@@sheilahwoods9525 You're his mom? Those are all very impressive feats. You raised someone very independent and a go-getter. :) I guess I'm thinking the s 3x industry is just a lot more dangerous and has longer lasting effects in the future, so not really something to encourage youth to get into.

@@cwolf201 Yeah but it's just barely after graduation, so still very young and even growing (some guys can still be physically growing until like 21 and mentally until 25). Also, the usual things to ponder going to like being a lawyer or starting a business don't have the same implications that the s 3x industry do.
