I've seen everyone talk about the stuff about how Clyde's personal story is unnecessary and he didn't need to include Seth just being an asshole and it makes it very clear you, and every other person making these videos didn't watch the entire thing and just skimmed. Clyde included all his personal baggage to explain the type of people that Seth preyed on as well to explain why he struggled with making videos and dealing with Seth, as well as explaining why the hanging from a tree "meme" was so messed up. And including the Seth being an asshole portion was to reinforce the fact that Seth is in no way redeemable and why Clyde so firmly believes Seth won't change as well as explaining the actions Seth took out on everyone. (My wording may not be the best but that's the explanation I get for why they were included). Clyde also just wanted to get his personal trauma and grievances out there in a video where more people would see.

I never knew either content creator before this however agreeing with you while adding that I have to appreciate Clyde's efforts as way too many people are handled poorly this way in the yt and social universe ie. Traumatized and or treated unfairly to include using their past to manipulate them and or take advantage or a situation (usually where lots of work n pressure are involved) Being newer to yt, less than a year, I would never consider someone you admire or help would or could actively harm (hanging tree photo) or sexually demean/harass others. Now I've been attacked by a huge creator over remixing a video but we were not friends and there was no working relationship like here and this video of Clyde was very personal. Unfortunately, Clyde's video also bought up the possible reality that some not so nice and possibly unsavory yt "friends" and creators can cause harm and don't have your best intentions and can use your close personal relationship against you. To include both content creator admitting mental health issues with traumatic pasts compounds the issue on both sides even more. A real eye opener.

I'm OK with Clyde going into his health problems because it paints the picture of what KIND of person Seth is so then you look at the other allegations and go "yeah I can see him doing it."
