A lot of what makes a god strong, Atreus already has within him, literally the son of some of the only 2 non-Aesir beings that could match up to Thor. The strengthening of the bear form and the energy fields, though made by the dwarves, make use of his own power cause they're energy after all. Kratos is easily stronger than Odin. As stated by Cory barking, old Kratos is stronger than Greek Kratos, and Odin is weaker than Zeus was. So not only is Kratos stronger than Zeus, Zeus is stronger than Odin. Kratos is still the strongest character in the god of war franchise, the only reason he seems weaker is because he wants to be less violent and is purposefully suppressing himself.

If Atreus is to master his abilities he could possibly transform into more animals such as birds, horses, lizards, etc. If he gets really good at it like his mythological counterpart he might even be able to use the power of these forms while in his base state or partially transform his body at will. The potential for him is absolutely insane and the fact he's only 14 in ragnarok only means he can only go up from here.

Bro tbh I wouldn’t mind a spin-off but switch kratos and Atreus role. Maybe kratos has to help Atreus take on Egyptian mythology or to free giants and kratos could have a few missions. Also Atreus would have to get another weapon, almost all gow games have more than one weapon. Cus only having a bow for Melee will get boring very quick. It’s be cool if Atreus gets bigger and stronger, therefore almost playing like kratos but much more versatile, maybe even really tall like tyr or surtr

With Atreus as a child being able to survive at least a day's worth of Dark Elf attacks while Kratos was getting high in the Light of Alfheim (that "Good elf shit" as Brok would call it), we already knew Atreus was a survivor. With all of the things you pointed out in this video that Atreus can do, the potential is limitless. I forgot about that scene where Kratos holds Bjorn back from Freya. Damn, this game and the previous one was better than the majority of movies and TV shows I've seen in years. The original GoW games have excellent story telling, but these last two games are on a higher level of artistry. As for chemistry, I think Loki has similar levels with both, just different styles. He looks at Angraboda as someone who is mysterious and exotic, while looking at Thrud like someone who is exciting and kinda scary, but in a good way. If they make a series around Loki, I hope they use the same cast to show them grow up. It would be great to see the evolution of these characters. Yeah, it's a bit Truman Show-like on my part to want to watch these actors grow up, however this cast was so great together so I stand by my statement. (Yes, some people were angry about Angraboda being black, but I did not care, as long as the story was good. Well, the story was amazing, so I hope it will continue!) Atreus/Loki has the potential to be even STRONGER than Kratos as he matures. Through Kratos he has the blood of Uranus the first greek sky god, Gaia the Earth mother of the Titans, Kronos the Titan King, Zeus the king of the olympians and through Faye he has the blood of Ymir the first Giant. Which those in his genetic makeup he could very well surpass Kratos, Baldur, Thor, Tyr and even Odin himself! Atreus actor Sunny Suljic will have to hit the gym and get ripped for the GOD effect in the later games.
