Atlas functions fine without his soul, didnt even lose consiousness, kidnaps Helios and holds the cosmos while Odin just instantly dies lol. Poseidon's lightning can destroy souls, yet Atlas soul was destroyed while Odin got rekt by an hammer that used to give my axe +4 runic. If you dimwits want to bring it on, bring it. In the canon novelisations the Yggdrasil is way bigger considering how each realm is stated by Freya to be relative in size and Midgard is stated to have endless sky which means each realms is infinite in size , not only that but each realm contains it's own time and space per example time in niflheim goes faster than with Midgard which means Thor's power was felt through all of time and space as well through all the different time spaces the realms has and their different timelines as well as the macro timeline of Yggdrasil which infinite transcends all of which were damaged at once, now back to speed Kratos is way faster than even infinite speed , he fought primordials before he even became a god like Thanatos, primordials are where fighting before time itself which means they atleast scales to inaccessible speed, then you god Hermes who in the guide books was stated to being able to dodge a light from Helios, the same light that can cover the underworld which Cory Barlog stated that it's an infinite realm with no gravity, not only that but the sisters of fate were also stated to have infinite speed, then you got in the recent games where he was able to beat the Valkyries who mimir stated that they can brawl with Odin and can cross the realms, which puts them at immesaurable considering how they have to cross between realms where time transcends

Sister of fate is possibly even beyond infinite speed since they are stated to be the one that determines the decision of every living being which includes titans and gods. Meaning they set the decision making of even Hermes while they controlled the loom of fate put on top of these other gods and titans which is an insane multitasking/speed feat.

@@ye7625 yeah I can see that I mean Ragnarok brought some insane feats , like there's a lot of new arguments about Kratos scaling to outerversal, the first being the shrine room where mimir stated that it's beyond concepts and that it doesn't exist which can be argued to be outer considering how Mimir can talk to actors in the source materials, another argument will be the Norns when they called him and Freya archetypes which means they're outside the concept of time and space which is also a big argument for outer , they even has plot awareness and they were basically trying to say you can't defy what you're wrote for which at the end Kratos have proven wrote, now its either a metaphor or and actual plot resistance for Kratos, but those aren't even his biggest feats , the big one is Kratos confirming he was in ps all stars battle, which was even confirmed by the devs on twitter which will easily scale Kratos from outer to high outer due to him being able to fight and possibly defeat polygon man, he's basically the big boss and is said to have projections in other games like the master hand and iron mario which is insane fictional transcendence the in the game he can straight up transcend the game itself and mess with the actual game menu which can easily scale to plot transcendence if you wanted to

@@ricardomilos3872 ehhh meta narrative scaling is too much Cory himself has stated that Kratos and by extension the GOW series is more of a literal representation of mythological figures for example Atlas literally lifting the sky(and since its mythology the size of it is infinite and not just the size of the universe etc etc.) I don't think were supposed to take Kratos as some sort of scp 3812 There might be hints of 4th wall f*ckery but stretching it to that point seems too far. especially since we know the developers intention in what they are trying to do.

I believe he was a disappointment in his last fight. No large scale attacks, no tension and a bad fight ending for him. Not to mention he was killed by a single stab. His lore hype is incredible, him sending the serpent back in time was also incredible...fighting a non-rageful Kratos - not so much

A single stab, by what is widely regarded as one of, if not the most powerful weapon in norse myth, through the heart. Not to mention, this isn't Thor at his best. Much like Kratos, neither of these two are at their peak. And Thor is actually poisoned the entire game after Kratos hits him in the gut with the Axe. In the first game the axe was imbued with the World Serpents Venom. Which is what Kills Thor in the myths. Its why that wound never heals across the whole second game. So Kratos who isn't using all of his full rage against Thor who is emotionally broken and poisoned. And its still pretty even money.

This guy demolished Thamur which is considered the biggest of the giants, he unleashed he rage against the giants (a far superior, stronger, smarter race than the gods) and none could stand against the tide of slaughter that followed. He was clashing with Jorgmunder and Ragnarök at the same time holding them both back from Asgard, striking Jorgmunder so freaking hard sending him back in time, and every realm felt the wave of that strike, and after that he went and fought with Kratos, enduring fatal injuries and matching Kratos in strength (while he was poisoned), finally getting killed by Gungnir which is considered one of the strongest weapons in the nine realms, betrayed by Odin. Thor is absolutely crazy. Imagine him at his peak, i don't think even Kratos could endure his valor.
