The Curly Haired Hokage goes over what makes Boruto's Timeskip Training better than the training Naruto received during the Shippuden Timeskip. While narratively speaking, Naruto's arc and how it played out with learning a jutsu like the Rasenshuriken in Shippuden was overall great, it still sucks that Naruto didn't learn anything more substantial during the 3 year Timeskip, aside from the Massive Rasengan. As opposed to Boruto, who is sean using the Rasengan Uzuhiko and the Flying Rajin.

Boruto became a menace and that makes sense because he was trained by Sasuke who also became a menace after timeskip. This proves that Sasuke is a great sensei

Well, in timeskip he already have something like shinjutsu made by himself which is something higher tier than any ninja that exist and alive when it comes to making a jutsu. That uzuhiko kills off many variant of naruto rasengan for me. But that uzuhiko one is a cold af rasengan, making enemy suffer slowly than dies later bc of the pain. And as wee see, at the age 15 he have flying raijin, sasuke's sword style, enough type of rasengan, lightning and water nature, probably still holding back the karma power. He could beat kawaki at this point while holding back and not relying on karma. Would say i was disappointed with Naruto's Timeskip only had him taller and new clothes but the rest is just him spamming the same jutsu of rasengan and kagebunshin and if he almost dies, kurama comes to backing him up. Only until the end of Shippuden period, he finally have something else but still a bunch of rasen shuriken.

Naruto actually fought people that were shown to be much powerful than code. Re-watching the fights against juubito, juubidara and kaguya naruto was a complete beast. Code hasn't really "shown" to be that OP. Juubito is very underrated and would definitely give boruto a fight

Had the perfect character arc to give Naruto which was trying to master the nine tails chakra, naruto would see kurama as a tool for battle but things would get flipped on him and as Naruto starts liking the power and getting more violent looking more animal he gains more power for the nine tails instead of completely failing the point of training 2 years But Naruto is a ninja his only card shouldn’t be nine tails that’s why i hate Naruto uzumaki for this no variety, so give him rasenshuriken to replace his giant rasengan, sure it makes no sense since to get it is a training arc, but that’s the point of flashbacks to hint at what Naruto did and he will surprise the viewers instead of making us go like obviously he was gonna master it, if you didn’t see that coming you didn’t watch Naruto part 1. That wouldn’t happen if he already learned it and that will be his special rasengan instead of giant rasengan being the special

- The only thing Naruto didnt learn from Jiraiya is sage mode. Same way Boruto didnt learn summoning or clones from Sasuke. - Naruto didnt learn how to control 9 tails under Jiraiya same way Boruto didnt learn to control Momoshiki under Sasuke (not confirmed) Sasuke is stronger than Jiraiya and Boruto has a better potential than Naruto due to his Uzumaki and Hyuga Otsusuki blood. Boruto is stronger than Naruto because he just is. Not because Jiraiya was a worse teacher at the time

i think naruto should have learned some fire style. Theres a filler arc where he has to fight a water monster with gamabunta and they launch a team attack with oil. "Use your fire style naruto!" (he uses a paper bomb...

He was also trained by Kashin Koji. That's why he learned Sage mode and he can summon toads. Not only that he can use toads to teleport. That's genius!
