Basically, Veldora can trigger it by himself, letting him to summon himself in the same way Rimuru can. (this is what he did during the Walpurgis)

Regarding the issue of Veldora's clone and how the issue of "brains" works, I believe it would be more or less like this: The original Veldora is inside Rimuru, and a copy of him exists outside of Rimuru, but the copy is controlled remotely by the real one Veldora that is inside Rimuru... So if the "external" Veldora dies or is destroyed, just make a new copy to be controlled remotely.

Yeah, that’s the easiest way to think about it but if you’ve read the light novel…. Light spoiler head. Valdora actually cuts off the sole corridor from Remu at one point and stays inside his body. It happens when he gets taken from Rimaru and someone tries to control him. So I guess maybe his consciousness could’ve jumped into the clone, but that’s not how it seemed to be. He straight up cut the soul corridor off and Remaru had to consume him with Belsabub in order to get him back

Soul corridor just connect their soul ignoring space-time, so rimuru can keep a copy of veldora's memories and personality updated in real time. This connection beyond space-time also also allow his to revive him because rimuru is always connected to his soul.

Veldora is spiritual life form so he need a physical body to continue living in this world, without physical body his magicule will leak and run out very quickly. Same reason why charybdis need phobio. Veldora desolve his previous body back into magicule when he was in rimuru's stomach, so he need a new one and rimuru's clone was perfect for it.

Anime didn't explained it but the reason rimuru started eating orc lord cuz he had no other option of defeating him even with great sage helps. Even then orc lord was fighting back and eating rimuru also. They both continued this for a long time then rimuru saw it's going a settlement and not going to end. Then he used his brain and talked with orc lord. He gave orc lord relief just what we saw in the anime then orc lord loosened up . Finally giving rimuru the chance you of eating him. That's how this fight went .

A good analogy for the soul corridor between Rimuru and Veldora is quantum entanglement - where two particles are linked and can affect each other no matter the distance. Rimuru's and Veldora's souls are linked together by this bond called a soul corridor that transcends time, space, and even multi-dimensional bullshit. As a hypothetical, someone like Guy could trap Rimuru or Veldora in an ultimate prison as powerful and as isolated as Rimuru's stomach, or throw them to the end of the universe. Rimuru and Veldora would still be connected and could summon the other to them .

Masayuki is not resistered as rimuru's subordinate by food chain. So rimuru doesn't have his skill. Food chain required a soul connection for skill sharing. Also spiritual life can come back to life as long as their soul is safe. Veldora being true dragon is also a spiritual life form but he is above all spiritual life form as he is truly immortal and come back to life even if you destroy his soul.

Remember: he wasn't "born" there in the cave by chance. He was born there because there was a large range of particles in a hurry enough for the slime with its unique abilities to appear. Since he was born and not summoned, there would need to be enough particles to generate him. And that was all there was. Because Veldora had been there for many years.

What is inside Rimuru is basically a constantly updating backup of Veldora, when Veldora is in his clone form. But it is more than just a backup, he is actually connected to Veldora. When the Empire attacks Veldora and he severs the connection with Rimuru (to protect Rimuru from also being controlled), it was incredibly painful for Rimuru and he felt a sudden, extreme "loss", which make Rimuru basically go berzerk. If you think he is crazy powerful now, wait until he nonchalantly creates Ciel, who's main hobby is collecting, analizing and modifying any skills she can get ahold of.

​@@minihatsunemikufan I've never read Insta Kill, but I've heard Yogiri is in fact the embodiment of the end all be all of all things. So basically the concept of the end of the universe. On top of that his verse apparently has a higher dimensionality and scale than Tensura, which if true means yes he would easily defeat Rimuru. For those who don't understand: Imagine Death from Puss in Boots but instead of only controlling death he can make everything unexist, a concept above death. A very similar character is Shiki Ryogi from Fate, who is connected to the Root of All Things once her 3rd personality takes over and she becomes Void Shiki. Her power, thanks to the Mystik Eyes of Death Perception (MEODP), is to see the "death lines" of everything and cut through them, essentially _killing_ whatever she cuts in the process not just living beings but anything even concepts. Her killing things is equivalent to unexistence I believe same as Yogiri. Shiki Ryogi is from the Fate universe and also has her own movies called Garden of Sinners / Kara no Kyoukai.

I love how the novel outright stated in the very beginning that Rimuru was only able to use hasten thought and mind accelerate without repercussions because he was a slime. Every single one of Rimuru's cells can replicate/copy the function of every part of his body. So basically he can use every cell in his body to think like a brain to share and lessen the load. When normal humans use hasten thought/mind accelerate as much as he does their brains would literally overload. This is why we only ever see other characters using it for a split second as a finishing move, because practically no one can use it constantly. Edit: Rimuru also does parallel operation the same way by basically dividing tasks and handing them out to different cells. In short Rimuru's body is more like a colony of simple organisms rather than a single being. The only reason he is a single being is because of his memories. Edit: You can't figure our Rimuru's skills just by watching the anime since it skips a lot of details. The manga does a better job of shortening the details, but full details can only be found in the novels. Edit: Yes, Veldora's original brain and copy are linked.

Timestamp 15:10 - I think a better explanation for how it works is that, the "real" Veldora is inside Rimuru. When we see him walking around in either his "human" body or in his dragon form (see: season 3 in the labyrinth) Veldora is basically remote piloting from Rimuru. So while he is absolutely walking around and experiencing the world, none of those experiences are being "stored" in the clone body. So if Velly dies/gets destroyed/etc, then Rimuru "restores" him by just giving him a new clone to pilot.

Veldora could also revive rimuru if he were to die when veldora is summoned. That means you cant kill just one of them but you have to kill both, otherwise they would just revive each other.

About Restore Veldora: Basicaly the real veldora is inside Rimuru while he controls a clone with his conscience, all memmories the clone experiences are saved throught the soul corridor. True Dragons are already immortal but when they die they lose some of their memmories and their personality, if Veldora were to die he'd just be reborn years later with a new personality and fragmented memmories, but because his memmories are saved in a back-up throught the Soul Corridor should he die the exact same Veldora with his memmories and personality intact can be reincarnated. And about why nobady visited Veldora... Magicule Poisoning, his Aura could kill most people immidietly, the only reason Rimuru survived is because Veldora was weakened and Slimes live off of Magicules so his tolerance was much greater than most monsters, that's why he was born inside the sealed room instead of outside, he was also A Rank from birth because he was born FROM Veldora's magicules.

That part is actually wrong in that video. Veldora we see outside is very much real veldora with soul, core, spiritual body, Astral body everything. It's very important point for one of major moment in the story. There's no real veldora inside rimuru. Only back up of his memories. Only reason why rimuru give him a clone because veldora desolve his previous body back to magicule inside rimuru's stomach since he doesn't need it. Veldora is a spiritual life form, so he need a new one. Just like how charybdis need phobio veldora also need something he can possess and rimuru's close was perfect for it.
