But the isekai that stand above the rest like tensura aka slime and Mushokou tensei aka jobless reincarnation make all the modern battle shounen hell even the shounen genre look weak in the story telling department those stories blow most if not all new age anime out of the water and deep into land so deep they are practically hiding in caves 😂

I would say and no flex here but a background of watching anime on release since like 2007 Shounen plots used to be way more focused on 1 main plot developing instead of random enemy fights or saving random characters to add to the MCs group. Even SAO was better imo in S1 before it just developed into Kirito saving some new character every season. It really killed the plot if anything. IDK shounen is just better when its well written but a lot of ppl are starting not to see it that way. Moshoko Tensai is insanely good at keeping it interesting with minimal combat. Tensura as well Rim developing into a Demon Lord was made so much better because of the way it was written up till the moment. Re: Zero is another of my favorites without being mainly combat focused but the plot man 👏🏾👏🏾

Another correction Towards the ending of the video you said Ciel asked if they should recreate the universe but it's not universe she said,she said world And world>universe Why do i say so? Ciel said i assume Feldways power was limited to destroying the cardinal universe but the world was not destroyed meaning world is bigger than universe And ciel said he can recreate it(the world,which is as i explained larger than the universe and is actually the whole of Tensura)tens of thousands of times which is anywhere from 20,000 to 99,999 times And it would only get higher as his Turn Null geberates infinitely and he wiuld probably get more energy sources too But great video though💯

I never thought this show would be in my top 10. I'm glad I gave it a chance. It has that unique feeling of adventure and world building like One Piece offers. The sense of community, development of nations/negotiations, is a really nice twist to isekai's, especially when done well like in Slime

What people misunderstand about Rimaru tempest and his evolution to demon Lord is exactly how that works. When Melime and Guy crimson evolved, it took them 100,000 souls to super evolve into upper-level demon Lords. In the light novels and the web novel, there is a scene where the crimson demon Lord asks Rimaru what it would take to evolve his own subordinates. Rimaru says that he can do it with between 10,000 and 100,000 souls worth of energy. However, any souls over 100,000 would be wasted, because that's the limit of what can be incorporated. Rimaru tempest also did not simply take 20,000 guys. 4,000 or so of those troops were elite fighting men from the paladin unit of luminous. Another 16000 of these guys were from Falmouth. This wasn't the wanton destruction of a couple of towns or a region the way that the crimson demon Lord did it. He got a hundred thousand souls, but he got babies and weak little women with them... He wasn't getting a hundred thousand elite fighters. I would say that Rimaru after his evolution was within 50% of the magical level of Melime. When they fight at the demon Lord banquet, She's going at him seriously in her base form, and he's keeping up.
