Dr. Fate is a fantastic character IMO. My favorite iteration is without question Kent Nelson. Been a fan of this character since the DCAU especially in particular the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated shows. I was absolutely shocked as all hell when he became crazy in Injustice 2.

@@IvaNTheUnStoppable I think Dr. Fate and Zatanna could have been given the opportunity to demonstrate how powerful they are as a merged entity in the comics. The Ultra Monitor needed help against the likes of Perpetua so Zatanna wearing the Helmet of Nabu would be an ideal battle partner as opposed to Hawkgirl. Personally, I think Zatanna is a more skilled magic user than Kent Nelson in the comics.

@@IvaNTheUnStoppable Thank you very much, Ivan. Zatanna as the new Dr. Fate could remove Apex Lex from the battlefield via magic and focus on powering up the Ultra Monitor. I admit that Zatanna and Dr. Fate separately are not on the same level as Perpetua in the comics. However, Zatanna donning Nabu's helmet would gain access to all his vast knowledge and skill with magic combined with her own. Furthermore, Zatanna and Nabu do not need to hold back against the likes of Perpetua and would be far more inclined to go full throttle on her.
