Wonder Woman has been classified in the comics as the strongest female hero in the DC Universe. While it has been accepted that she isn't exactly as strong as Superman, she's still in his class. Hell, there was a moment in the comics where Superman, while being mind controlled by Crucifier at the time, he states that Diana is his equal in raw power. That shows you that even Superman knows the extent of his own immense power.

It's kind of like how Spider-Man can lift a tank up and smash a tank even though tanks can withstand bullets. Yet bullets still can pierce him! Even though he can literally sling around tanks! Characters can have weird inconsistent durability and crap but that doesn't change how strong they are. That's how I see Wonder woman. She has a stupid weakness but she can still lift planets lol Think of it this way. Injustice Wonder woman can actually tank bullets to the face. But based on the feats of power if we was the place her against comic book Wonder woman even though comic book Wonder woman is vulnerable to bullets. Comic book Wonder woman would still beat her badly!

Diana is so underrated in terms of power. I have seen people say that she’s not even remotely close to Superman in power despite the fact that through almost all continuities she’s the one member of the JL who holds her own the best against him when he’s under mind control. In the community people seem to have this misconstrued idea that a character has to be equal to a character to get a win on them. You don't necessarily have to be as strong as the character to be strong "ENOUGH" to be able to give the character a fight or even win at times! It's like in real life. If a 270 lb man fights a 240 lb man. There's a good chance that the 270 lb man could be stronger but that doesn't mean a 240 lb Man can't get a win in a fight! She's definitely within the neighborhood of Superman esque type beings

In the comics I believe Diana is just as strong as ol Supes. She can easily lift over 100 tons. She has once use he lasso to pull support a whole bridge from collapsing. She has been known to stop a speeding train with her barehands. Oh and has caught falling planes in the air. Well I dont think she is as Op as Superman but she almost on par with him regarding strength. If anything I day she is on par with Marvel Thor in physical strength. Given the fact that she is nearly a deity.

I’m so happy someone finally made a video about this. Thank you! It irritates me so badly to read a lot of the comics or to watch the movies or the cartoons and witness how powered down they always make Wonder Woman out to be. She was always known to me to be as strong as Superman but then the comics or movies have her struggling to lift tanks. She literally also has very few weaknesses if any. She’s a force to be reckoned with and I wish the writers would stop powering her down.

Not necessarily because depending on their source of strength it may not extend to their internal bodily functions. Some characters are super strong due to an endoskeleton, some sort of exterior armour like ironman. For some it’s a byproduct of their power-set.

Phoenix and Phoenix II are aliases for Jean Grey and Rachel Summers, so its totally fair. If I would've said the 'Phoenix Entity' then I would be crossing the line, and you know I wouldn't do that. Also Raven and Powergirl are MAYBE equal or superior to WW, I cant say for sure since DC doesn't have a hierarchy display like Marvel does, but they should not be slept on. And if we include all the comics including villains then Hela and Umar are superior to WW aswell.

That's just writer overkill to hit something and shake the universe. How can someone other rhan an abstract entity defeat someone like that? They really need to down grade the powers of many of these characters. It's just not an interesting fight to go against someone who the writers keep making stronger and stronger. For example, the Hulk punching threw time. That's ridiculously stupid for plot.

She was standing. Jet did the pulling. You still have a huge amount of storytelling that contradicts your claims. Superman didnt even lift the heavens, and nobody would argue that he isn't somewhat stronger than her, maybe a lot stronger.
