Just a fun fact hercules 11 lives make him overpowered for a different reason. You need to kill him with a different weapon for each life. That's why Gilgamesh was the perfect person to fight him.

Not exactly. He gains +100 resistance to what killed him but he isn't completely immune. If you can make your attack stronger and stronger, you can overcome such resistance.

Gonna be that guy. It would be Heracles Not Hercules. You see Hercules is the English translation for Greek to Roman to English. But Heracles is Greek to English. Directly translating to glory to Hera. Since she tried to kill him as a baby and he was renamed either to appease her or mock her.

He has two names hercules and heracles in fact we don't know if that was his actual name or not we just have historical books to get it from and even that could be fabricated.

The crazy thing is, whether or not it's an age thing, this video underestimates and undersells him in a heck of a lot of ways, especially things like the "jack-of-all-trades" line: that's an ignorant character making a canonically untrue statement. People always bring up living-human-teen-Gil vs Shirou, somehow forgetting just how badly Shirou _lost_ that "fight" and the author's confirmation that Archer >> Shirou and Archer never beats Gil, in an actual "fight".

Gilgamesh is the strongest regular servant you can summon in a grail war but he isn't unbeatable. A good few servants are stated to rival him. As for other beings that are not regular servants, there are many that overpower him.

@Rex Lapis CCC Gilgamesh is Gilgamesh amplified by the Mythological Mystic Code, not a natural power-up that he can obtain. Even when he obtained it, he had a 0.99% chance of beating BB so he had to further get amped by the school resources in order for him to have a 50% chance of victory and even still we had to beat BB before she used her np which 1 shot us. Then we move onto Kiara who was far stronger than any version of Gilgamesh, the reason why she lost was because of the Alteregos she absorbed, they restricted her power due to the love they had for Hakuno, had they not restricted Kiara's power she would have destroyed the main character and their servant which includes Gil. Buddha is stated to be on par with Kiara but even Kiara wouldn't beat him in a confrontation. Amaterasu is stated to be the most powerful being in all of Extra and CCC with only Arcueid Brunstud having a small chance against her - stated in Materials. Amaterasu >>> Buddha >= Kiara > BB using CCC > BB = Gilgamesh (Mythological Mystic Code and School resources) > Gilgamesh (Mythological Mystic Code)

The 0.999% doesn't hold true its not because gil is weaker it's because due to the coding she has control over the celar Which via grants her control over the realm, when gil gained equal potency or defence equal to the 10 crown everything bb thrown at him was useless Gil only loaes to bb until the 12th turn which is the players fault which is not cannon, when gil pulled out ea it destroyed the realm (sort of ) bb lost If gil uses SNI it would be 100%, it was 0.0999 due to him being a code and authority difference he was never weaker than bb Than we fight kiara, even though she was at 50% she got humiliated by gil, in her own words he said gil was too strong

It depends what do you mean by overrated.Becuase if you mean in terms of power then he's not,but if in terms of character then that's to be expected becuase caster Gill is an older version of him with more life experiance and without maximasm complex that is so visible becuase Archer Gill is basically a tennager.
