I have a theory that Star Platinums ability is actually that it can gain any ability needed but not keep it, along with being just a generally strong stand physically. Like Star Platinum didn’t already have time stop, it gained it after Dio used it, or Jotaro figured out he needed a ranger attack in the Dark blue moon fight so he adapted to use his fingers and thus, star finger.

You actually reminded me one thing I rather like about Jotaro himself: the fact that he actually avoids killing until his fight with DIO. He was clearly very capable of killing any of his opponents with a finishing blow, but never did. It makes me think back to how Jonathan himself held back against the likes of Speedwagon, despite the fact he could have probably kicked his head clean off if he wanted to. Of course, Jotaro's idea of holding back also had a chance of shit like permanently disfiguring or crippling his opponent or leaving them to drown, never mind whatever brain damage someone would get from an ORAORAORA, but hey, he's got some of Jonathan's mercy in him at least.

I’m pretty sure the durability stat is a mistranslation and is actually persistence (so how long the ability lasts) that’s what I have heard at least. I may be wrong about that though but it makes sense to me (like how star platinum before time stops ability is punching stuff and he can do the infinitely (why it’s an a) but in stone ocean when he’s star platinum the world who’s ability is 5 second time stop it is and e because it is 5 seconds. Also purple hazes ability (the gas) lasts like 15 second (again I may be wrong there) which would make sense. All in all you may be right and it’s durability but I notice you say that in most videos and I have never seen you address the persistence thing. You are probably right but just thought I would mention. Anyway I love your videos, they are very good. Great job :)
