The pull up was a draw because Denis was just playing, he didn't take the set to failure there for it's not representative and thus impossible to say who would win which is why I put it as a draw. Personally I think Levan prime is probably stronger because he is a bigger guy. Both are beasts and goats. It’s hard to stay at the 100% best you can be in strength sports because health is pushed to the limit for alot of the 1% best.

@@antreas1984 Nobody is talking about strength per kg of body mass. Denis and Levan are the two strongest in history, and by the way Brzenk has admitted to taking steroids himself. Also, European training style is very different from the North American one, so European armwrestlers tend to be bigger than NA ones in general. Europeans train their whole body a lot more, whereas NA armwrestlers tend to only train very specific movements. This is also why European armwrestlers generally have a better posture, whereas NA armwrestlers tend to walk around like crabs because their bodies are so unbalanced.

The results speak for themselves. Both are great athletes but Denis is that bit ahead. People may say he's gotten weak but don't realize the dedication and discipline the man has towards the sport. His humility, humbleness and legendary strength is inspiring... As for Levan, he still has a long career ahead in terms of cementing his legacy, which is looking awesome by the way he dominates experienced veterans.

Don't get me wrong Levan is monstrously strong but his extra 30kg bodyweight is not pure muscle, he has had niggly forearm injuries and some niggles when trying other strongman event's, I would rate him for sure as the strongest arm wrestler on the circuit, but Denis was on another level he did what he had to to be the strongest, and he was without question, sometimes just holding people on his bicep, Richard, Dave and many others, I believe 60cm biceps at the biggest and solid, ripped, when he states he could get no heavier he probably means raw muscle mass, my belief is if they were both coming up through the ranks together Denis would have edged Levan... I think Levan is large boned and has most of the criteria to be the top arm wrestler, but I think Denis's ligaments and connective tissue was superior, giving him the greater margin for improvement, possibly Levan has better technique on a table but strength goes to Denis...

Also a note: in pull back strength there was a slight mistake which was later reported by larry himself and many others that the weights that they added where not devided by 2. The full stack in larrys gym was 53.5kg and they added 35kg more which because it is a double pulley system needs to be devided by 2 to saw real weight. So it is 53.5 +35/2=71kg for the pull back strength. The weight denis moved was measured by a scale and was accurate. Not taking that into account , i think that the comparison is pretty accurate and thanks for the videos man!!

Pushkar has a big hit and nothing else. Chaffee has a huge hit and immense side pressure which uses all of his energy in about 10 seconds flat. Lupkes never had a match go more then 20 seconds.

Both in their primes, as a prfoessional arm wrestling coach, I believe Levan would win easily. For these reasons: - Since this video, Levan has put on 17kg (40lbs). His lifts and strength have also gone up significantly - Levan has more mass. Two equally strong athletes, the heavier one has an advantage in arm wrestling due to heavier anchor (the opposite is true for calisthenics exercises like pull ups) - Levan's younger age, greater mass and higher body fat % mean his tendons will be stronger, vital for arm wrestling - Levan's slightly higher height will probably mean slightly longer arms, which is disadvantageous for curling and weights but advantageous for arm wrestling - Denis maxed out on roids and supplements and paid the price. We haven't yet seen Levan hit his ceiling - A much much weaker Devon (with much less roids and mass) beat Prime Denis in the last round (after losing 5 rounds) in his WEAK had (Denis admitted he was beaten fairly in the last round by Larrat). The same Devon, at his heaviest and most roided had his arm ripped off on the second round on his newly strong hand (which at this point was 20% bigger) - Both have a very wide hand, with equal girth. Levan however has a significantly longer hand, which means he can grip around Denis' hand better and expend less energy in squeezing (largely irrelevent if strap is used but still useful to change between hook, press and toproll). In terms of raw strength in their primes, I think Lupkes, Cyplenkov and Levan are top 3...but specifically in an arm wrestling match, Levan wins by a margin.

georgians are reknown for their strength anyway, levan was probably strong as an ox before training and steds. strength is a funny thing, its not all about muscle size. i doubt even cyplenkov in his prime would defeat levan atm the most impressive thing about this video for me tho was the bench press stats. theres an awesome channel over at paranormal round table with a great host called josh whose a big dude but not ripped at all, and more to the point - not on gear. and hes been videod benching 600lbs. having seen these two monsters doin a couple of reps of similar weight it blows my mind how freakishly strong big josh actually is

The pull back strength dennis is stronger because Levan did not do 88.5kg that is not the real weight the true maximum weight of the pulley at Larry's gym is 55kg then they added extra 33.5kg which means that since its double pulley system you have to divide the weight by 2 so the real added weight is only 16.75kg and real total weight is around 71.75kg. In that video it was clarified in the comments that they messed up they forgot to calculate the true weight. The weight that Dennis did was already adjusted real weight 85kg so the winner of pull back strength is Dennis not Levan.

Based on numbers you showed its pretty clear Denis is physically slightly stronger especially when we keep in mind Levan is 30+ KG heavier which is huge factor . But I think Levan bigger size and more weight will give him win in armwrestling match and I am basing this on their match with Dave Chaffe where Levan just destroyed him while Denis had much harder time , but it should be said that Denis plays defensive many times so hard to say again but still I think Levan takes win on table .

If you know what arm wrestling is and know how to recognize techniques used, you can see Dave only ever tried to slip out to get to the straps. I don't remember totally, but I don't think he even tried to do anything else, but levan's hand was too strong to escape, that's what he said in the short interview after the match. He might have given a little more trouble to Levan had he tried going inside instead of just slip out... Like Devon once said, Dave is a big dummy, a strong ass big dummy. So all and all, I would say Denis might have win against Levan, but it wouldn't have been easy, maybe even a draw

There were a couple of cable based armwrestling movements but on close inspection the handles were too different. It's a shame about Denis and I honestly don't see him being giving the medical clearance to continue.

Regarding the chain climb, probably worth noting that Levan's weight is lower in that video (he did a mega bulk 105 to 170+kg in a short time period). I would also out of those 3 draws give Levan the win on the pullups to make the head to head a little closer. Hope the video generates interest

First of all, Levon is 30kg heavier minimum, and 5 inches taller. That is tons of leverage. Rope climb is by far going to Levon, he is way heavier and pulling much faster and more control than Dennis, it's not even close. The pullup is also no comparison, hammer grip is much much easier than forward grip and Levon again is considerably heavier and does it with ease.
