1. the only time he put up a ‘good fight’ against todd in his 10 year old body was with invisible providence, not his physical strength. 2. he never lifted or killed the wolgarm. he almost beheaded it after trapping and using the sword with the other three adults he was fighting with, even then he couldn’t behead it. tanza saved them. 3. eh, that’s a really good feat by earth’s standards but in the re zero world that’s like an okay feat. he also lost a fight to them y’know? 4. the only case that subaru would have incredible physical strength would be in arc 7 with the pleiades battalion and cor Leonis. the only reason didn’t get buffed like the rest of his army was because of his broken gate. otherwise, if he used mana flow while stockpiling mana from the army, he’d probably be stronger than emilia’s physical strength as long as the pleiades battalion is sharing mana with him through cor leonis. even without a fixed gate, the stockpiled mana given subaru and fed to Beatrice was enough to make her capable of using several al and ul spells, along with subaru’s corrupted mana (which makes beatrice’s spells stronger..it’s a witch thing) and the cor leonis buff, beatrice became strong as hell.

Subaru was using that to spread the burden of his mana usage onto his allies, essentially treating all 1000 members of the Battalion as one shared HP and MP pool, that's why he apologised to them when he cast a big spell suddenly.

People treat Sloth like a downgrade, but it's just because Subaru hasn't used it for its intended purpose yet. The only time he has been physically discomforted by using Invisible Providence was when using it offensively in combat, however he has used it in other situations without discomfort when it is for benevolent purposes. Combined with the fact that it can pass through solid matter, it's clearly not meant to be a downgraded version of Unseen Hand, but something else entirely. The sickness he feels is when he forces its use as an equivalent of Unseen Hand. Like making a medicine with its own will act as a poison, it can do that, but unhappily.

Plus, it's implied in arc 8 that cor leonis allows subaru to funnel mana from other people into Beako. In arc 8, she uses AL Shamak twice, which is about 400 years worth of mana a pop. He's the ultimate support with cor leonis pt 2

Just a minor quibble, but u recall the poison pill specifically wasn't a quick reset. It was a very painful, but certain reset. There are multiple chapters if him choking on his own blood, and i recall a detail that he does this to not incentivise its use. Death, except his arc 2 death, is never easy for Subaru

Not sure about the witchfactor, but the curses seems to be negating each other or fighting to gain control over Subaru's body which is why he keeps on regenerating since none of the curses has gain full control yet.

@@PoyoPoyomfs Not at all, while Regulus can take on any army for as many times as he wants due to his time freeze, Subaru has to constantly drain from those around him for Cor Leonis to work, and all for any attack thrown to not hit. If you can figure out his abilities are reliant on his wives, you win, but assuming this is a controlled environment where you either haven't figured it out or can't kill them for whatever reason, he is forever invincible, and way more capable than Subaru at anything he does. Keep in mind that Regulus's ability to make any attacks trown at him seemingly "touch a wall" is NOT Little King's damage redirection, but rather a time stop around him that slowly drains the hearts of his wives. It's never specified if the damage received from this can be healed over time or if it's permanent (something like starting at the 1st wife, exhausting her and by the time you're at the 78th the 1st is ready), though if he had a time limit and was aware of it he'd be able to use anything around him to maul through everyone, and make it a closed match where he'd certainly stalemate/force a retreat on characters like Reinhardt.

Subaru also got nerfed to death considering pre arc 7 Satella was being hard countered by RbD, tried to keep Subaru alive for that reason (she herself says only Subaru can defy dead end of fate), and Satella actually acts like any other person in a loop(arc 6 Satella attacking tower) Now Subaru's RbD technically just be fucked by some attack fucking up his Od (in past he didnt give a shit about limitations of soul) and for some reason needs Satella who lacks affinity with WF for rbd to function. Simply put...author's bad writing, his Subaru hate, Emilia/other character wank and of course retcons make Subaru weak and story inconsistent.
