In one of the light novels they have Saitama fight a copy of Saitama and he beats the copy easily with a single punch. I love how Saitama frames it. He says that since the copy was made from the version of him the day before it was bound to loose. There is no way the version of him the next day isn't strong then the version of him today. He's constantly improving and I really love that touch. That improvement is for it's own sake and we should always be better people the next day then the person we were yesterday

Ppl get mixed up cuz the way murata drew the sun was the same way the he drew the nuclear explosion. But despite of that, i do think saitama could easily withstang being at sun, i mean, he was bathing in lava and tanked a gamma ray burst which has hundreads of times more energy that our sun would produce in his entire life.

​@@thelone3966 I think it's a misinterpretation. The page is shown at 13:58. Which does not show Saitama being thrown into the sun. Instead it shows a huge explosion from the fist prepared on the panel right before it. Notice how Jupiter is in the background AND larger than the explosion so it is not the sun. Saitama already proved that he wasn't vulnerable to being portal-ed away when he kicked and grabbed the portals. Garou was trying to ditch Saitama with the explosion as a decoy.

Weeb is usually really good, but there's a few mistakes in this video. Saitama was never sent into the sun during this fight. His clothes were destroyed from Cosmic Garou Whirlwind attack. Also, his fart didn't send him all the way back to earth. It allowed him to catch up to Garou as he entered his portal, transporting both of them to earth.

The fart didn't send Saitama to the Earth. It sent Saitama towards & through Garou's portal. Saitama was right behind Garou in the portal. At the 16:44 point of your video, you show a frame from the manga that clearly shows Saitama's fart propelling him towards Garou's portal (not the Earth). If S was propelling himself from the Sun towards Earth, 1) how would he know which directions is correct (S isn't that bright)? There's no way for Saitama to orient himself towards Earth because he couldn't see it. Garou could see the Earth with his enhanced vision & opened a portal to take him to that proximity. Saitama immediately followed Garou through Garou's portal.

If the stars were destroyed it would take thousands of years before anyone would notice any change since the light would be still coming. This leads me to believe that Saitama is always holding back, always because if his natural functions that aren't forced can automatically or consciously function in a manner that can obliterate the earth, that make me believe that he says he's serious when in reality or in his mind, he's not because the situation is obvious to him. Obviously thats not close to multiversal. However, Saitamas strength is rising EXPONENTIALLY. This has even been shown by Murata himself, when one of the panels show Saitamas exponential graph next to Garous. People have determined that Saitamas depicted graph is the equation 0.08*10^(0.5x). Ill calculate it right here: According to multiple sources, the energy to destroy a galaxy is 5.7*10^51 joules. The reason why i choose milliseconds is because Garou and Saitama have been moving beyond light speed throughout the fight, plus i could even be generous and say nanoseconds, but i wont. It would be more accurate to describe it as another universe or time-space, such as a warped area space near the event horizon of a black hole. Most things in anime are not quantifiable literally. Essentially, take Goku's zenkai boost, remove the bit where you have to nearly die/get badly beaten to get stronger and make it 100x faster. Then take Goku's power-ups and remove the part where you need to charge up first. Now you have Saitama's power/ability The only way I see anyone beating Saitama is if you start off with reality altering (not warping, full on changing it) capabilities and catch him off guard, otherwise the longer he fights the more rapidly your chances of winning go down.

I never got the debate. If its dbz vs opm, then Goku is gonna lose about 60% of the time, minimum. But Vegeta clenches it about 70% of the time. Its not the power difference. Saitama is always boosting. 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x.... And Goku plays too damn much. He wants to spar a bit, tell a joke, explain his transformation, break for lunch, show off his next transformation, debate the nature of strength, throw a few more punches, then yell for 5 minutes in prep for his next form. Its not all about power levels. The deciding factor of who'd win in a OPM vs DBZ fight is personality. Sure, you can argue that Saitama has infinite durability, but.... 🤷‍♂️ I mean, if thats the case, then if you compare A Certain Magical Index's resident disabled psycopathic esper to Goku *or* Saitama, then he wins. Because his power is vector control. You hit him, and he redirects the impact of your fist back on itself. He'd beat them with their own power without taking any damage, all while hobbling on his crutches. You just can't marry two power systems together. But OPM and DBZ are close enough that you could reasonably debate it.

Based on the war arc "serious punch squared" would have shattered the earth but one serious punch probably doesn't. So that's probably a good approximiation of Saitamas power. Another thing we've seen is to survive a Saitama "normal punch" a character needs regen. To survive a "serious punch" they need to have also broken their limiter and reached base Saitamas level.

He could have ended Boros the moment he met him, but since Boros told Saitama that he had traveled the universe for 20 years, JUST to have a good battle, Saitama decided that he would give Boros the fight that he wanted.

With his ability to increase in strength infinitely and outpacing a fraction of gods power, it would just be opm gold if when he fights god, saitama is on the ropes for most of the battle because gods initial power is just leagues above saitama. But then eventually as saitama keeps getting stronger and fighting, having the time of his life for the first time ever, he eventually eclipses gods strength and immediately loses the thrill for battle again because he’s able to one shot the strongest thing possible.
