It's one of those rare situations. I don't mind if a character gets killed. But it's got to be like a "earned kill" if that makes sense right. Getting one shot just doesn't seem right considering what we see him do! 😡

My friend, you were not the only one who was pissed off on how the writers treated Billy Batson/Captain Marvel/"Shazam" in the Injustice universe during his confrontation with Superman. I mean, the f*cking character has been shown to be comparable to Superman in raw power overall, and more importantly, equal in physical strength. I know Superman's heat vision could rival temperatures to that of a sun, but last time I checked, Billy was able to survive being turned inside out by a Tesseract bomb and has also withstood being blasted by the Void Hound, a weapon that destroyed 10 star systems in its test run. With these feats, Billy in his superhuman form, should've been able to withstand that. Now, I know that there will be people that will say, "Didn't Superman kill Black Adam with his heat vision in that flashback cutscene from DC Universe Online?' My response to that is, Yes he did, however, I disagree with that scene also.

Billy could go even beyond in terms of strenght if he tapped into the more literal magical side of his powers. In theory he could learn magic the same way Zatanna and Dr. Fate use and way easier at that given the nature of his Shazam form, i remeber him summoning a pingpong table out of thin air with magic in a random pannel. So imagine what is essentially magic Superman casting the most random hax imaginable The way he was killed was straight bs

In Injustice Hercules actually K.Oed superman its thanks to the sun superman was able to recover quicker amp himself fly back to earth in order to land a sneak attack to a weakened hercules and need i remind you hercules is a demigod so imagine how much stronger he'd be when he ascends to god hood

Solomon was not a god, Achiles was not a god, Atlas was a Titan. Hercules was a demigod. He doesn't have all their power levels, it's ridiculous how apparent God's would make a being more powerful than them.

i mean if you pay attention to the panels he is showing Shazam explains to Hercules that he may be a god, but he is empowered by 6. like Ivan explained he basically stacks his powers from the other gods with each other. even in the main comics, that’s how his powers work. they stack. he has the strength of hercules PLUS zeus. not only that but it is directly stated in main continuity that his power of zeus amplifies all his other powers. so yeah that’s how he can over power even the gods that empower him. they are basically fighting themselves plus the other gods plus a power boost from zeus.

Him being stronger wouldn’t be the problem. Him being 500,000 times stronger would be a problem. Being 5% stronger than somebody is still technically stronger, but not by that much. But when you get strong enough to one shot beings that would imply the gap is large. That type of writing wouldn’t be OK.

If im not mistaken i think he wasn't in his Shazam form when superman killed him, because i thought i remembered superman holding his mouth shut so he couldn't speak and say Shazam, and he just looked like he was in his Shazam form because he was older in his human form by that point, but i could be mistaken

Guess many will get surprised how powerful many of the characters are. You often say if i remember correct in videos about characters without superpowers like Nightwing etc, that humans in their universe do superhuman stuff. I often think the same when i watch alot of regular action, martial arts movies. They often do stuff no regular human can do.

I've seen Superman and Ultraman perform feats of strength and speed that transcend the concept of infinity multiple times like lifting the Spectre, holding the book of infinite pages, fighting Mobius the Anti-Monitor and knocking out Alpheus the World Forger, so if Injustice Superman is on par with them then should Injustice Shazam be capable of doing the same thing they did?
