People really underestimate Wolverine. There's close to no one that could really kill him unless you're a reality warper or have abilities that negate his healing Factor. The dude has footlong unbreakable claws that can cut through anything. He can survive in almost any condition and is a master in all forms of hand-to-hand combat. And he knows how to kill just about everything

I don't think Batman would be prepared for someone who knows almost every fighting style on the planet and can't be thrown around easily and who has footlong claws that can cut through anything. But if he had prep time I definitely say Batman would win.

But in a random encounter Logan wins, because of at least comparable fighting skills, deadly supersharp claws, extremely durable adamantium skeleton and healing factor. Plus, Batman doesn't know which adamantium is, so he could think it's a normal metal and trying to block or parry Logan's claws with his gauntlets (and it won't end good for Batman).

And Wolverine, despite his rude appearance and brute actions, is quite smart in his own right - according to Forge, Wolverine can play 4 chess advanced computers, while fighting several enemies and came out on top.

One of the things that made me love Wolverine is the fact that in terms of sheer power there are beings that are waaay more powerful but despite that Wolverine could still be a huge threat to any of them because of his claws and durability. If they can be stabbed he's a serious threat to them no matter how powerful they are.

Wolverine is without a doubt in my mind still to this day Marvel's ultimate badass. While I do believe that the movies did a solid job in showcasing his fighting skills, the comics do it much better. Wolverine has mastered every form of combat known to man. What I really love about Logan/James Howlett are not only his stories, but also, his character, attitude, personality, and his code of honor.

The Wolverine of Earth-616 is the most ideal version of the character. Wolverine's strength range was in the 200-lb. range, and his heavy Adamantium skeleton reduced his speed & agility. The counterbalance to Wolverine's modest strength, speed, and agility was that he had an unbreakable skeleton & claws, a suped-up healing factor, and a remarkable sense of smell. The 616 Wolverine was powerful, but not overpowered.

20:02 in the comic ultimate avengers 3, ultimate Cap also do this. As he also had a healing factor (And he was regarded as superhuman in universe 1610). In the comic it was explained that his immune system was perfect and that there was no toxin or disease that he couldn't recover from given the proper time. So might as well that applies for wolverine's healing factor too.

Wolverine is _overpowered_ (in most comic book depictions of him), which is why his healing factor was dramatically reduced in the 1992 X-Men cartoon, to make him appear vulnerable to his enemies' attacks. In numerous video games, Wolverine's enhanced healing factor was also either minimized or virtually non-existent. To me, the only good Marvel Universe is Earth-616, where Wolverine heals from most of his injuries in under 5 seconds. Every other Marvel Universe is garbage to me.

So heres some crude maths, a 50 calibre can penetrate a few inches of steel, its like from my random 2second search 11,000 psi of pressure , and its penetrating a few inches, btw a crocodiles bite force is just over 3,000 psi from again a 2second search, so to put a piece of metal through steel, you need like a minimum of 11,000 psi of force, wolverine can punch through more than that, like forget his claws are made of the hardest and sharpest material on the planet, you could look at things he cut through, and work out the force needed to do that, so to but steel through bigger steel, your literaly up into he has the power of a tank round in full flight, and wolverine can literally 1 inch punch with that force, his strength is more like, how does he walk around and break stuff

Long time fan of Wolverine here. Best example of what Logan's physique would be like if he was real is bodybuilder Lee Priest in his prime: Dude is legit 5'3 and was 190lbs on stage. Best arm development ever....Hell I'm 5'6 and around 200lbs and when you're built like a fire hydrant it's hard to look badass unless you train your ass off. One thing people forget is Logan is a polyglot, he speaks like 20 various langauges fluently, and has trained proficiantly in most forms of martial arts. He's also an expert marksman despite not caring much for guns.

Batman has defeated Bronze Tiger once (and only once), but it was with context - Batman was disguised as Matches Malone, Bronze Tiger has fought against Catwoman and was distracted and Batman in disguise has knocked Bronze Tiger out with hitting him in the head with a chair (it was a cheap shot). In direct combat they has stalemated each other at their best and Bronze Tiger even has defeated Batman twice (in 1979 comic book, where Bronze Tiger has appeared first time, and in recent comics, where Bronze Tiger defeated Batman in a sparring match).

I disagree on the speed front with Spider people, particularly Spider Man. Peter Parker has dodged bullets, then he has a huge edge because of his spider sense. His reflexes are faster that probably anyone in the Marvel Universe. Dude is quick. Spidey is faster and stronger by a long shot in my opinion. He's about 2 levels above Wolverine, but still, don't get hit with them adamantium claws.
