This is a great premise for a video. Making the struggle real in a different way lol. When people would complain about Disgaea being "too grindy", my response was always "the grind is the game and the game is the grind". You either like it or you don't. For item-centric ARPGs, the loot is the game and the game is the loot. You either like it or you don't.

Very well made video! With Loot 2.0 the progression is so much smoother then ever before, and with the Pit we have a system to use the loot for. The two most important things missing for me are SSF or SCF mode and a Leaderboard for each mode. With a solo character found mode, i would care way less, that some classes tend to do 10 times the dmg of my class :)

I have often wished, I could send you my build some how and have you critique it. I would love to see the developers implement an export function of a current build to an email address that is printable so we could "look" at it differently. I have tried all different kinds of weapon combinations with the blight build and paragon tree to try an push the damage out put but keep coming back to the two handed scythe. Anyway, thanks again for all you time and energy!

The only thing I have a problem with is having to read thru all the affixes on every item you pick up to see if it’s good or not. Eventually, you get good enough where you’re only picking up GAs, but I miss how in D2 you could instantly know what you have when you pick it up, and only on occasion would you pick up a rare or magic item to study the affixes, whereas in modern arpgs you’re studying everything you pick up

Not just itemization, the paragon system also has its own depth that makes a significant difference. There's still out there people asking if it's worth max leveling their glyphs or asking why their glyphs don't "cover the same area" as the glyphs they've seen in a build guide; I've some people even asking if it's worth getting all the altars of Lilith 😅 TL, DR: it's a game that requires time investment and to understand its basic mechanics in order to get the desired results

Two things learned along the way though was the paragon board is really just straight shots to key nodes and don’t activate every node you see and also crit damage is way more important than bucketing sometimes. Just made a barb and did pit 31 at lvl 80 we meh gear once I understood more of what was available. I never used gear guides and this is the first Diablo I e ever touched let alone even looked at. Thanks for the video. I have finalized my decision to stop playing D4. I'm sick of the inflated unfair pricing to utilize the systems. I'm sick of the unfair weighting of affixes when re-rolling and tempering and pricing associated with these systems. I'd be willing to bet master working has a similar hidden mechanic not fair to the player as well. I don't like the fact that resetting master working resets the master work entirely at every level and believe resetting should only take you back to the previous breakpoint. For example: reset at 4 to 0, 8 to 4, and 12 to 8, and the pricing involved to use this system is astronomical. I'm done playing a game that is not fair to ALL players and has to implement hidden mechanics just to keep the blasters blasting while shitting on the majority of the player base. I wish everyone the best of luck with their D4 adventures but I will not continue to support this game in any facet unless they make changes to make these systems fair. NOT favoring the player, but fair and respectful of my time. All the best luck to everyone. Thank you again, Mac, for what you contribute to the community.

Things that would make Diablo 4 more attractive: - non-class-specific skin system, skill skins, hideout system These little things would become more attractive to players who don't want to buy a skin because it's not intended for their class, for example, or even have a character that's completely different from the others. -System for corrupting map regions with the use of Soulstones. As we know, Soulstones have the souls of Evil trapped inside each one. A system that allowed corrupting map regions and modifying enemies would be interesting (even with helltide active). Skill modifiers: Spells could have more modifiers to have more play styles, for example Blood arises from the necromancer could be a poison skill becoming a new poison skill Or hydra permafrost for the sorcerers

The video wasn't bad, but honestly I don't think people that watch your vids really need pre-101 level explanations. I think it would be helpful in your video build guides that you show and explain the exact rotation and play technique of the build being covered and how to activate each bonus multiplier on the build. I think a lot of people that have problems with builds don't understand there is a specific order of operations they have to do on every pack of mobs to fully activate all of the multipliers within a build.

The tempering system has to be overhauled, it’s ruining the fun for me. It should be I choose the affix I want and then the rng should be in the value of the roll I get. Getting lucky enough to get a GA drop that works for my build and then instantly having it bricked through tempering system feels really bad. And no, I do not want a new material I can grind for to reset my masterworks. I want to instantly enjoy the rewards from my grinding, not instantly salvage the thing I wanted to use but the tempering system bricked it.

Itemisation is really bad. Cant stack a particular stat because of restricted scalars. Stat caps make the game / builds homogenised and indistinct from each other. Need more generic uniques and more uncapped choices for scaling (hint: make it where you cant take them all)
@maxmustermann39383 ай бұрын
What? If anything, having things uncapped is what homogenizes. Then you just stack the obvious best thing into oblivion. Like a paragon node that turns a specific additive damage into a multiplier and is uncapped. Great, everyone now takes crit damage everywhere and it is always the answer, skill tree, paragon, items, everywhere. Wonderful, such diversity. Adding a cap gives you 500 different ways you can combine all of the systems in the game to get there and let's you add in diversity both in how you reach the cap and in what you do with the things freed up by capping it. More generic uniques? That's what has been plaguing the game. We need more interesting uniques with real tradeoffs.
