I just got here from his scene in _Stone Cold_ (1991) and he does well technically but cannot really sell the heel role unfortunately. He's supposed to be the evil, sadistic beast that the much smaller hero Brian Bosworth manages to overcome but he just looks like a kind, friendly guy! IIRC he was a face in wrestling except for a brief period near the end; but even so, perhaps this shows a general lack of "acting" skill and the inability to even provide the seriousness and edginess that a face needs. Because for a guy of that immense height and weight to be flipping all over the place like that is nothing short of incredible; plus he can stage a competent fight and had a physique that far surpassed nearly every "body guy" and a handsome babyface face, along the lines of Kerry von Erich matter of fact. So he must have been considered hopelessly bland indeed to have not been pushed to the stars!

It was at the old Olympic Gym where you see him walking down the stairs in the video. After wrestling he went to California as an outdoor guide at the Sierra Nevada mountains. Later on I sadly found out about the attack on him. If you met him he was your friend.
