I think a bigger issue is writing the situation to make the optimistic character seem WRONG for their decision to have faith so often. It may have been a better idea to have 2 leaguers stay behind while the others go on board. Also, where are the REST of the league? Cyborg, shazam, Blue beetle(ted), red tornado, green arrow, etc should've been involved in this to some capacity. Wouldve been great if we saw the bat/supes family help in peacefully taking down their respective league member.

@@PeteyPirahna77 no they just don’t know how to create a good story, DC hero’s are never about show off their powers but about making tough choices and standing for their own codes when facing tough situations, that is why when the movie man of steel Superman snap zod’s neck we can all feel pain Superman is having at that moment, because in that short moment he knew to safe those people he have to kill, even to kill the only one left of his own kind even it break his own code, or when Flash create flash point because he lost so much in the past but end up have to change it all back, we know his feeling his lost his regret and the end he still chose to sacrifice all the thing he wants for the better reality, those are what we call good story telling. But in this game, that boomer ring, flash fucking saved him from lantern and the first thing he can think of is to step on flash when flash is weak and act like he really won a fight and even cut flash’s finger and still flash choose to safe him by sacrificing himself, and when he killed flash for real what did he said! He was fucking celebrating, if I m in that world I would prefer being killed or turned into monster by brainiac than being saved by this kind of jackass. And when he cut flash’s finger he know it is really a new level of low he even hide what he did to his own team, I really don’t understand if the writer know this is that low how can they believe this is a logical way to make those people safe the world by beating a all knowing technology advance alien with superpowers I mean even Harley showed some level of love to bat and Wonder Woman I mean the only part they might be successful about is created at least a team of villains that won’t be liked by anyone even they saved the world, if that is what they want they succeed but still there are other better ways

These are the common factors of superman growing up with humans, compassion and knowledge makes him soft, his survival instinct definitely shun any warning beforehand therefore makes him vulnerable to any kind of scenario. In the regular lore of literally any multiverse in DC superman should have already known about brainiac. The whole story falls apart when you think about it for even a minute. Flash could have killed each one of the main characters at any point and I mean, any point. Batman could have stopped them without really lifting a finger. Superman most all could have obliterated them without a second thought. And last not to even need mentionioning, why, on earth, would a giant skull that spits fire and ash seem peaceful to you.

They were running from superman as he was fighting wonder woman. Batman made them look like fool in the batman museum Even wonderwoman got a shot at these idiots and beat them effortlessly.

If Suicide Squad kill the Justice League would have taken place in the injustice universe with Superman’s ending as canon, things would have turned out to be much better: Injustice Harley is actually a Harley in a redemption process: she’s openly a hero by now (sort of), she even stands up to Bruce’s no killing rule. She would have stoped at nothing to genuinely save Bruce from Brainiac-Superman (still keeping a Batman boss fight). Injustice Deadshot seems also like a redeemable and likable character (unlike this one), and they made King Shark work just fine. The goal is to RESTORE Batman, Flash and Green Lantern, not kill them. They could have even had more JL brainwashed members to fight such as Supergirl or Aquaman. With every JL member restored by the squad, they help the squad with believable power-ups to stand up to the other league members. Like having Supergirl as a backup against Brainiac-Superman. With Bruce restored and again by the good side… he could have easily given them the technology and contingency plan to stand a chance believably against Superman-Brainiac and Wonder Woman. They could have even added Deathstroke, Enchantress, Black Manta and Cheetah as season DLC’s, characters who seem to work just fine in the Injustice universe.

I’ve watched various clips of this game and I don’t mind the story. Other than the fact it’s in the Arkham verse. If this was just a random universe I think it would be really fun and an exciting story, something we don’t see very often. But having it in the Arkham verse changes everything. Especially with how they handled Batman. Hoping the DLC somehow remedies this.

This is one of the laziest writing moments I’ve ever seen in a video game EVER! Besides WB, Rocksteady, and Sweet Baby Inc de-powering Superman into a reckless idiot, there's NO cinematic fight scene at all since Brainiac only really needed to rely on the Justice League making _outright_ poor decisions so he can lure them into a trap. This means he never truly defeated the Justice League. Another problem is that Superman never took into _any_ consideration about the possibility of Brainiac luring him & the rest of the League into *a trap.* The fact that ALL of the Justice League members went along with the plan is straight-up uncharacteristic and lazy, especially for Batman since he would never put himself into a dangerous situation he _very much knows about._ Instead they should continue monitoring Brainiac's ship, call other superheroes for help, or create a backup plan in case their "peaceful negotiations" plan goes wrong. I really miss Superman being overpowered because now these days, along with Evil Superman stories, him getting de-powered for the sake of the plot is becoming an obvious & boring cliché that loses its originally over-time. Who thought it was a good idea to de-power his intelligence in such a contrived way?! This is too much _for even his own standards_ as it doesn't make any sense why Superman allowed himself to recklessly abandon Metropolis so he can "peacefully" talk to Brainiac only to get himself & the League captured.

Well he is an alien and Kal is the name his parents gave him when they sacrificed everything so he could live. Superman had always valued his Kryptonian heritage. In the comic 'for the man who has everything' where the black mercy makes Superman see the perfect he would have wanted he sees himself on Krypton if it had never blown up and he had grown up with his people.
