The indefinite super sonic isn't actually that tight of a window, you just need to make sure to release the bumpers before the transformation fully finishes.

One thing i dislike about speedruns of Sonic games are the comments. No, the game is not broken, or a fever dream. Speedrunners just break anything they touch.

Normally that's true. Superstars is very broken though. Like, you'll have great difficulty having a casual run that DOESN'T encounter a bug. Especially since one of them is a music bug that's as easy as "enter boss arena while an emerald power or super form is active."
