Monday and Tuesday we were treated to breakfast from Admin. Today, our teachers had the pleasure of enjoying lunch from a local food truck and desert from an ice cream truck today. Everyone was sleepy an hour later. 😂 I'm not sure if we feel appreciated, but we definitely feel full.

The school I'm currently working at doesn't give us anything. I mean NOTHING. So far this week, we received a Cinnamon bun (store bought) and a bag of microwave popcorn 😅😅😅. The administration didn't buy us anything for Christmas, and we had to pay (I refused to do so) for our Christmas dinner at Bahama Breeze. No offense, but I wish I would pay money to eat with you guys. I miss my old school with its food trucks and Olive Garden gift cards😢 I hate it here 😅😅😅

This week we got a shirt and a 24 oz yeti container. They are catering lunch for us tomorrow, and then we are going to a baseball game that includes the pregame patio. Some admits try and some don't. This is probably one of the top teacher appreciation giving schools that I've worked at

One year we got pens and not even a red one because you can’t use them no more. They cause low self esteem we’re told. Another year we got business cards like we’re gonna want to pass them around in the club for a call back. 🤣Then we got Chipotle and the teachers with an early specials time took all the good stuff before the later specials teachers could come and get some.

Red pens lowering self esteem?? These kids are already idiots....why are they concerned with self esteem instead of these test grades?? These administrators focus on too much of the wrong thing!! I'm so sorry y'all go thru this. Y'all really deserve awards & major bonus and hazard pay!! ❤

One year, our teachers got new t-shirts that said Happy Teacher Appreciation. Another, it was pens & pencils. The icing on the cake is the catered continental breakfast & catered lunch in the conference room that they still had to hurry & scarf down. 😒🤦🏽‍♀️

I’ve been impressed with our new principal’s ideas for the week. Day 1: Root beer floats delivered-on a cart Lol, Day 2: Everyone was assigned a # then #s were called over the loud speaker every half hour if your # is selected you get to select from a variety of gift cards. Day 3: A coffee truck was parked outside the school for 2 hours taking custom made orders. Tomorrow I think they are catering Chipotle!

Our school gave us donuts yesterday but we had to contribute to a potluck today...smh. I had only one student gift me something..and I don't even teach him.😮😮. Thursday, our school offered leftovers from Wednesday's potluck..smh

The Charter School I work at has given us some nice lunches this week. Today we had Olive Garden and we are having a grill out on Friday. The students have also given me some nice gifts as well. I do not miss public schools.

Parent of a soon-to-be high graduate here. But did you ask? Slide us newsletter about you with your gift wish/hint list with celebration dates so we don't scramble to find something around the house before the bus pickup. 😂 All those papers and no gift hints. But I'll be the first to apologize. ❤️

I got a $5 gift card to the gas station and an apple. Literally, that was it. I don't even go to the gas station for anything but gas. You can barely get 1 gallon of gas off $5.

Tamales without the husks? Sounds like those tamales came from a can. At least someone could have tried to put them in a Corning Ware container and add some cheese and olives and pass them off as enchiladas.
