Great to hear from such a devoted teacher that spends so much spare time planning and preparing how much better she can perform in in classes. It must be so satisfying for you to create such compassion in your students to make the kids lives better…….🤣

It really is satisfying! My teacher trainer even came to class with me to observe me. I need her feedback to build up my confidence and to tell me where I needed to grow as a teacher. The classroom management tips really improved my experience as a teacher and for the kiddos too!

Want my advice, don't waste $1500 on a course to obtain a TEFL certificate that you could get so much cheaper online. I went through Ninja teacher some years ago, what I know now to what I knew then, I would have not paid the fee.
@Annima10165 ай бұрын
@@KJ-xc7ni I felt the same way, that's why I waited 6 months to do it. But what I got from it was a community of life long friends and connects that helped me throughout the years i've been living in Vietnam. If you can do it without connections, that's fine. But I would do it all again to gain the confidence in teaching and have the support that I received.

@KJ-xc/in, I think it is much better to go with professional hands-on training courses, like Ninja Teacher Company, than online classes.

Ninja Teaching Company creating so many great English teachers in Viet Nam and around South East Asia. Vietnamese parents work hard to send 1 kid to an English school to learn to speak well in English and they start at a very young age, like 5, or 6 years old. Every job in Viet Nam requires you to speak English. Without English, you cannot find a job, period. I'm so glad there is a company like Ninja English company that provides good training to teachers who want to teach English in Viet Nam, or any country in Asia. This company has been around for a long time now. I love to watch videos of the classroom. Please show more.

As an American, I'm glad there is a natural beneficial relationship being created right now between English speakers and Vietnam. Question for whoever: Do you think in 3 years (around the time I get my bachelors at 27 years old) the demand will be anywhere as high? Or will people start catching on? or a mysterious third option?

@@supaFoh, I am sure, VN is a developing country and every family is desperate to send their children to learn English at a very young age.

I was surprised that she wanted to stay in Vietnam long term lol. A lot of the people you interviewed tends to use Vietnam as a stop gap to their next destination. Quite disappointed because we need people to invest in this country as it continues to grow. Glad to hear that Annie is willing to do that. Love it!

My daughter is set to be a teacher in SF, CA @ an under privileged area where education equality is a need but I can say after watching this option it is IMHO a terrific start for young people, those who don’t have a teaching degree and to discover a tested method, community of supportive teachers, developing your creativity in a new and beautiful environment without worrying that you can’t afford the rent or eat good food. I’d guess many will eventually move back to the USA but quality of life in Vietnam and other countries can be extremely affordable! ✌️

I’d guess many will eventually move back to the to their Western countries but the quality of life in Vietnam and other countries can be extremely attractive and affordable! Doing something different than the norm challenges you to find and be yourself without the expectations of your home country!

What's going on with the current and near future english teaching job market in Vietnam? I've heard English will no longer be required for public schools.
@christheconqueor6 ай бұрын
English is and will always be in demand, especially in Vietnam. They are not going to learn Mandarin or any other languages. English is universal and children's parent will want them to learn it so they can be successful in their future. Is the English teaching jobs saturated in Vietnam? Yes. But as long as there is a demand, English teaching jobs will always be there.
@leigh75076 ай бұрын
Its not mandatory for older grades but luckily its still needed for grades 1 to 5, which is where the most work is. Also, most ESL teachers are just centre workers not public school teachers
@ninja.teacher6 ай бұрын
There was a somewhat misleading news article about this (as happens very often). It was just a change that means some high school students can take a different subject in some circumstances, but the reality is the vast majority of students in public schools will continue studying English throughout their 12 years of school.

How can NNES Teachers outside of Vietnam join your program?
@Adam_Adam_Adam_Adam3 ай бұрын
In reality, if you're teaching 20 hours/week you'd have to factor in 5-10 hours more of lesson preparation. Just for anyone that hasn't taught before and isn't aware.
