I'm happy to hear you say that you were converted a year ago. I listen to pastor Guzik every day. When I was converted it was after listening to him doing Psalm 1 He did a 30 minute devotion and you can look it up on KZbin by searching "Guzik Psalm 1". From it I learned just how much God packed into just 6 verses. It changed my life. Do involve yourself daily in the Word with pastor Guzik and your life will change for the better day by day.

Thank you for this series on James. Your series on Ps 119 was a blessing to my studies last year and now I am learning to look at the book of James in a fresh way as well. I like your last exhortation to pray that our blessings will be a first fruits of sorts. Honor should always go to God, even in the small things.

Why did I have to say what I thought! No matter how old I get I can't seem to get this totally under control. I believe " I have the right to say this" or " someone needs to say this" and then guess who does! Me and then it comes out and taints my testimony. The world would not hear it as sin... But my heart is so sensitive to anything ... I hate my sin. I feel I need to hide away to keep my mouth shut...I have to struggle with my guilt..

I feel the same way. I get angry at injustice. I need to keep my mouth shut. No matter what.

James Chapter 1: 13-16 has to be the best verse I’ve ever read that suits me.

Thank you Pastor! I appreciated your explanation for how temptation works. In addition to this reference in James, Process Theology conflicts with Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8. I am not even sure how one could argue for it as these verses are clear and unambiguous. Stay blessed, brother.

Oh, dear, I did not know you were doing videos! I'm excited to hear them all. Thanks so much. I love the expounding on the truth about the root of sin (temptation, evil): How it is not from God. The irony of the Calvin quotes is astounding.
