The NFL MLB and the NBA players have 4+ months off every year minimum and even longer when they aint making the play offs. No Euros,Copa or World cups to worry about. European club Football is insane with so many games for clubs and (inter)National Football.Those EPL players are tired since 2022.

Wan Bissaka is an excellent 1 on 1 defender out on the flanks but that’s it. He’s not an all round good defender. When he’s narrow and in the box. He loses his runner, never scans and is often at fault in the central areas. Dalot is a better all round defender. Those who think otherwise are get a bit giddy when they see a slide tackle

We need to start dictating play and keep possession more. Almost all big teams do so, we couldn’t keep possession for 30secs against Arsena, just long balls and counter attack. All Arsenal had to do was pressure as soon as the ball is with Onana and we couldn’t play out; a huge weakness for a big team That’s where I have problems with ETH, our style of play must be a possession based then we can start tweaking how we play and press opponents cuz we allow our opponents to have a lot of the ball as well which isn’t a good thing for a big team

@@Stegibbon practice makes perfect. Once Arsenal start pressure each time, we couldn’t even keep the ball for 30secs and allow them much space to keep the ball without pressing them back. Big teams don’t give u that much spaces and I don’t understand why we do such even against smaller teams. If we want success we need to start keeping the ball better against the big 6 or we need to have high quality players if we want to play counter attacking just like Madrid, my opinion.

Very true. We play like a bottom table team just waiting to steal an opportunity or two. Fernandes may pull a clutch moment here but it seems like we are constantly under pressure. Our goal difference shows that we conceded as much as we score and that paints a lack of control over our games and results.

Of course when you play wan bissaka you cant build from the back because his lacked of technique so if you want wan bissaka to stay then don't expect we gonna play like arsenal or city Dalot is ahead of wan bissaka because his technique and he is more secure in the ball. You need another Dalot if you want to play the same type of football the whole season, not wan bissaka.
