@@TheBigEmstos Boring for guys with skill issues, I don’t see another reason tbh lol. The damages of this thing is litteraly scaled to death + it’s not easy to suceed it at all and you ask for nerf just because you saw a single player mastering it, come on man 😂

Absolutely phenomenal play. I hope seeing this inspires more JP mains to be born. The character is pretty interesting imo and really fun to watch at high level.

it really speaks to the cleverness of the wide range of universal mechanics in this game that for a couple hours people were celebrating the player and not complaining about the character they played

I don't think Kakeru paused, leverless controllers have the start buttons on the sides. I'm not high level enough to see all the minute technical details, so highly appreciative that you put out this video.

I was watching some of the dev matches from before release and I noticed how much they parry in different situations. Obviously not every one was in a perfect situation for it but for testers who play each other all day every day it makes so much more sense now.

I'm a JP main, I'm def trash tho, but watching Kakeru just made me want to improve! Just watching his gameplay you can def tell that's not the character is him literally using every single tool of the game. You mentioned he jumped like twice in the whole set (amazing!). So much to learn on my end! Thanks for the review and for the situations you explained in this video, looking forward to see what's next on this game. Kakeru set the bar too high.

5:38 how come jp got a cr. Mk after parry midscreen? I thought that only worked in the corner. He tried again a❤t 11:14 but it didn't connect, though it looked like he was a little late 15:39 anyone know why kakeru does that combo instead of the typical jp bnb? As far as I know, its less damage and less meter build.
@fieryfeends8227 Жыл бұрын
I don't play JP but usually optimal combo in terms of damage or gauge build is exchanged with corner carry or consistentcy depends on the situation, most likely corner carry tho. Is JP bnb the one that end with spike after overhead ghost? If so, i think he want the aggression in the corner rather than the long-range neutral game for some reason.

Capcom needs to nerf Kakeru.
@stephenm8233 Жыл бұрын
I do want some change with the parry, since it’s a bit ridiculous imo currently. Capcom has the right idea. It just needs some adjusting. Maybe change it so it’s no longer an option on wake-up? The two places it’s just annoying is in certain block strings where it’s basically guaranteed perfect, and on wake-up.
@nickkiller-0710 Жыл бұрын
even if you do the parry as a reversal, it will only be a perfect parry if you do the parry input 1 frame before the strike lands on ya, so even the smallest delay will throw their timings off
@itstaeday Жыл бұрын
Or not be predictable with blockstrings…? Some characters would be completely destroyed without wakeup parry being an option lol
@Shiratto Жыл бұрын
@@itstaedayAs a Marisa player I already struggle with no invuln reversal so not even being able to perfect parry would be devastating
