I'm not a fan of AI generated dialog. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of voice actors that would jump at the chance to narrate videos.

I agree 100%. I absolutely despise it and I find it lazy of content creators.
@DiegoSouto-fy9su2 ай бұрын
Yup. But it's simple economics, actors would cost money and time. If there was some kind of warning pre-clicking a video that it's A.I. voiced and people started avoiding it, it might hold the tide a bit. But that's not reality and as with every technology that makes anything require less human work and resources, less humans will find work in that field.

Seems that there are a lot of these channels, all of them posting little errors like that to make you click. I've gotten to the point that if it's something I consider is important, I'll verify it before I click on it.
@charleshayes25283 ай бұрын
@@PeterNebelung Please consider going further and reporting it as misinformation. They are not "little errors" but deliberate mistakes. It only took me a few minutes to check through the main cast and find that this was not accurate - and I am only a viewer. This is deeply offensive. While a number of cast members have died, there are a number who are still alive and implying that a majority or even the whole cast is deceased is both untrue and deeply hurtful to the surviving actors and their families. This person is solely concerned about clicks. I have reported this film and urge other commentators to do so urgently. There is a whole spate of these "cast of . . . all dead" films out there and they need to stop.
@civilizaserifusa47313 ай бұрын
I agree that the Title of this video (though clearly part of a series of such videos) is very misleading in implying the entire cast had died. That said the clickbait nature drew me in and it was a great relief to discover that it ended without naming some of the major cast members. With hindsight the ensemble nature and significant number of episodes gave rise to a large cast but it is probably inevitable that one thinks of the core protagonists first and foremost. Babylon 5 disappeared behind the deplorable "subscribe to view" paywall ages ago. I have most of it on DVD, but seeing some of these characters again (particularly the Soul Gatherer) makes me wish some free to view UK channel would license it again. Failing that Straczynski's reboot bears fruit. (edited to correct his name)

I only just found out about the reboot and the movies, to be quite honest. First time around life was a bit hectic and tough and I kind of lost the plot with a number of favourite tv shows and didn't keep an eye on what was happening post the original broadcasts.

Every death (whether famous or not), is tragic; whether 1 or 99yrs, we take time t remember ALL who've lost their lives whether cruelly cut down by accident, illnesses or natural passing.
@charleshayes25283 ай бұрын
@janysmahoney1271 I respect your statement, but the film is playing on your emotions and sentiments by exaggerating the reality. Not all cast members have died and I would encourage you not to watch this channel nor films like it. Report this film and if enough of us do so, perhaps Google will finally take notice and take them down. As I type there is another thumbnail falsely reporting the death of a famous film star. This causes concern and even hurt to their families.

Why is Bill Mumy in the thumbnail but not the video, because his is still very much ALIVE. Maybe you should fix this first? But I already know the stories behind their deaths, but you forgot Marshal Teague. Who plays a role along side David McCallum and as the Narn, Talon. Some of these other actors are only in this series for one episode. William Morgan Shepard plays the Soul Hunter, but returns as G'Kar's uncle. Turhan Bey plays the Centauri Emperor but returns in the 5th season as a Minbari in the Rangers.

It should be noted that many of these played single episode parts, and many did not die tragically, they died of old age after 70+ years of living a full life. Yes B5 had its share of tragic deaths. Drugs, alcohol, suicide, illness, and accident. Many left a significant impact on the cast, crew, and fans. This channel is bad about bad AI "voice over", and clickbait titles.
