Honestly the reason why i build 5x5 piston doors is because they can be' both small and fast, while being also pretty big doors. That makes it so you can always try to make a better one in the same size or speed, and always have fun trying your best to do it

I think there’s a lot more 5x5 doors than 1000, I’ve made a few 5x5 doors in synergy but there have definitely been a lot of redstoners making doors on a private world and not uploading it to KZbin

I'm a door redstone and even though I never built a 5x5, because I focus on cave doors, but I have an opinion on why there are so many. (in my opinion) 5x5s are big enough to be challenging and impressive but small enough to be fun to build. Great video btw!

5x5s are just the nicest to build. Want proof: i made a 0.6s 5x5 rail door, and now i want a normal 0.6s 5x5 and am working on this. If they werent nice to build i wouldn’t be working solo on a 0.6s 5x5. List of 5x5s ive made: 1032b 5x5 (my first ever get rekt mumbo 8 times smaller than urs), 612b 5x5, another 612, a 576, a 540, 5k block 0.75 non seamless, 2k block 0.75 non seamless, working on a 2k block 0.75 seamless, 0.6s 5x5 rail, working on a 0.6s 5x5 I love 5x5s

Nice video! I think you could improve by pacing your video more, not having everything super energetic i mean, maybe having some slower parts, and making the thing more structured as a whole. Also the sound effects are a bit loud. Although, this is an older video, so i'm not sure if you've fixed these things already.

Ive actually been trying to make a 5x5 piston door for about 3 years and been unsuccessful in making a functioning original design (size is secondary), sometimes i might look at others circuits and try to modify but for whatever reason it always needs ot be wired some strange way and have specific delay and layout to make a different piston bud power or w/e lmao. i fancy myself pretty good at redstone but unfortunately i suck at 5x5 or bigger c:
