Honestly the reason why i build 5x5 piston doors is because they can be' both small and fast, while being also pretty big doors. That makes it so you can always try to make a better one in the same size or speed, and always have fun trying your best to do it

5x5s are just the nicest to build. Want proof: i made a 0.6s 5x5 rail door, and now i want a normal 0.6s 5x5 and am working on this. If they werent nice to build i wouldn’t be working solo on a 0.6s 5x5. List of 5x5s ive made: 1032b 5x5 (my first ever get rekt mumbo 8 times smaller than urs), 612b 5x5, another 612, a 576, a 540, 5k block 0.75 non seamless, 2k block 0.75 non seamless, working on a 2k block 0.75 seamless, 0.6s 5x5 rail, working on a 0.6s 5x5 I love 5x5s

It's crazy to me as someone who watched most of channels mentioned and still thinks of redstone as this super niche thing weirdos like me do on side to see how popular something as obscure as 5x5 piston doors and it's history can be lol. The only 5 high door I made pre slime/observers was a definitely not small infinitely expandable one but I never bothered trying to do a normal 5x5 because everyone else had already made way better ones than I could rip. Was some deep cuts seeing disco, redstone innovation and dico/sydney being brought up in a vid in 2021 but we all know CNB minecraft was the OG (just not for 5x5's lol)

Lol even I built a 5x5 flush piston door in bedrock after a lot of fails. Thought for a long time 4x4 would be my maximum, but now I almost got a 6x6, but I just dont have the space to push all the blocks a block forward, so the 5x5 is my maximum

Nice video! I think you could improve by pacing your video more, not having everything super energetic i mean, maybe having some slower parts, and making the thing more structured as a whole. Also the sound effects are a bit loud. Although, this is an older video, so i'm not sure if you've fixed these things already.

Maybe 5x5 Piston Door is the only piston door that is in advaced Section Because it used Storage Pistons and Extender only But Quite Challenging Maybe thats why Door Redstoners Love 5x5 Piston Doors And we build different design but slightly identical to each other On the bottom For example 612 Block 5x5 that i built for 1.6 up to now 1.18 It still works but the bottom is identical to a typical observerless 5x5 Piston Door but the top of mine is too slow because 1.6 - 1.7.10 cant handle High speed top Quad when it comes to 612 Blocks. Because if you move to 6x6 - 8x8 Piston Door thats in the expert level because we need Piston Tape and Stuff to do it and If you Hate piston Tapes use more Larger Extenders and stuff and its really hard and 9x9 and above thats the Insane level

Ive actually been trying to make a 5x5 piston door for about 3 years and been unsuccessful in making a functioning original design (size is secondary), sometimes i might look at others circuits and try to modify but for whatever reason it always needs ot be wired some strange way and have specific delay and layout to make a different piston bud power or w/e lmao. i fancy myself pretty good at redstone but unfortunately i suck at 5x5 or bigger c:
