I think senna and lucian gonna fall out with allies divided side who trust queen -senna poppy samira and isolde(queen) and those who don't-vayne darius karma and lucian I say this cause it's shown that in each pairing in scenes one is very worn out while other is intrigued or more pure ones pro queen these people tried to help others or tried to gain understanding of situation while others have more at stake personally or has grudges, senna and poppy would want understanding and will die to help others and samira likes to take chances others either have responsibility on them like karma and darius to protect rest and lucian and vayne have selfish motives or grudges on what was taken from them I wouldn't be surprised if we might see a ruin lucian skin maybe

If you mean for him to be more kingly, his bio states that he didn't care for nobility that much, so it would make sense for him not to look the part in that field.

Okay he was a hopeless romantic and not one in the field/noble noble, but he was hyped to be a mad man that sacreficed everything and everyone to save his wife. He looks like a generic demon hunter from those mobile games, at least they should made him more spectral,more threatning than just Emo boy number 12031. Give him a etereal cape, make him something like darth vader who was also a hopeles romantic like the mask that he show using when he is doing the B animation or camuflage skill but broken in one part so you could see just enough of his face. He would look more intimidating,more mad and also less like one of those teen show's actors.Other thing, would be a more revenant like clothes, like ragged robes, corroded armor or maybe some parts of his body looking in necrosis or something like that. To me the film making absolutely makes him like a treat but his design no, he looks like one of those guys that think he is dark and powerful and menancing but everyone just looks at him and laughs of how cringe he is.

@@peacepham7838 Yes and thats is exactly the problem. Riot is slowly killing her character designs, is just Pretty Boy or Girl and that's it. Me and some players are with league not just because of the gameplay but because of the stories and how they convey that story trough their character design in a cool way. Look at Sett for example with him the Pretty Bad Boy Asthetic fits,why? Because of his story and how is conveied on his looks. He uses a lot of gold and fancy clothing because he is a show man, because that is a simbol of how he winned the fight against poverty and ostracism, his jacket has fur to look more like a vastaya. Other thing,the open chest os a simbol of how exposed he is, he must show that he is open that he doesn't fear getting hurt to command respect on the underworld. All this was told on his lore and much more and is conveied trough his design. The ruined king on the other hand only has two thing from his lore on his looks, that he is a king and he died young. He doesn't look like a revenant, he is not scary or mad looking or a menace. Its a design so boring, if you want to make simple at least make it cool like morderkaiser. If you put this Ruined King on the Same place as Morderkaiser i would 100% say that morderkaiser is the ruined king. Morder to my Knoledge has not fighted against the ruined king yet, so my hope is that he will show up look at him and laugh then proceed to put him on his place like the bitch he is because even his personality is shit. One thing i forgot to ad on my rant about this character are his animations, they are nothing cool looking or remarkable. They are super simple and lazy. Its not a Sett Ult, it is not a poppy facial expressions, its not even a cool swain walk comanding respect(Or His demon ult). Is just Emo boy with big sword and is not even cool looking. He should be one of the great treats to the wolrd of runeterra, but he was reduced to E boy to sell skins like seraphine that is just belle delphine.

If I did not know the characters (and the release expectations of the MMO), I would not have been surprised if someone told me this was the MMO trailer - all it really needs is a Vastaya and then it would have the major races, and it already shows various 'classes' (the Poppy-Vayne scene is such an MMO-like thing), an antagonist with a global threat, and that bit at the end talking about how they 'cannot do it alone'.

So the argument with Vayne vs Poppy comes down to this: "The devil you know." Assuming nothing has changed with Vaynes idea to Magic and Yordals, and it's still a KOS situation, you need to remember that some crazy stuff is going on behind her. There is a legit tidal wave of murder smoke coming from all directions spitting out the undead. If I came across an enemy also fighting off these things, I'd press my back to my enemy as it's clear that they're also trying to clean out this epic issue.

Indeed. The way I saw it was that Vayne wanted to shoot Poppy (hence the hesitation while aiming at her), but came to the conclusions that: A. There are lots of other magic things they can kill together first B. Killing Poppy and surviving might be tricky given the circumstances C. (Depending on how well-known she is, I forget) Maybe killing one of the founding heroes of Demacia in front of its besieged gates is a bad idea. Extrapolating from C, the impression I got was a sense of Vayne wanting to kill Poppy, but wanting Poppy to instigate it. A kind of 'prove me right' idea.

@@thelastnutbender6857 It DOES actually make a lot of sense because an actual Zweihänder looks basically like that, but to upper "Crossguard" which is a bit ovedesigned here, is not a real crossguard on the real life sword, its just two spikes used as bladecatchers. On some variants of those swords the Bladesection between them and the actual Crossguard was wrapped with leather so you could grip it there in emergencys, because these things where really long (up to 1.8 meters on some later Models) and quite combersome. Viego is just using that covered Part of the Blade as his main grip since he is swinging it as if it was a normal One-Handed Sword, which wouldnt be that advisable for normal humans. So the sword is pretty realistic from a designstandpoint actually (minus the fantasy asthetic ofc), ya boi is just holding it wrong. "Zweihänder" is just german for "Two hands" and you need both of em to wield one of these properly.

Listening to Skyen talk about Viego's actual introduction and seating posture, it made me think, "Oh criminy... what if he was doing that in an attempt to 'woo' Senna?" Mind you I want to say "to woo his wife," but I can't really say that since it isn't like we know if she with Senna or not at this specific point quite yet. We know later on but man it just seems silly to look at Viego and not call him a Simp... Of course, he is also by fare one of the most interesting characters too and his inclusion in LoL does help to push a whole new narrative forward, but part of me has been looking at Viego, his backstory and his voice lines for his inclusion into the game and I find myself thinking, "If there is a King of Simps, he has finally arrived." since if I recall the backstory, he kind of... wasn't a good king. And not good as in he was evil, but that he just wasn't good being a king apparently and how he was always obsessed over a certain someone who (if I am recalling this correctly) didn't want much to do with him. But kind of hard to say no to a King (since we know he later on became a touch mad and tried to do everything in his power to save and then resurrect the queen even though if she had a choice in the matter, she probably would want him to move on).

Karma's place name is the Lasting Altar Great point about the wear & tear differences in Lucian and Senna's clothing. The way I understand it, it might not be because of the difference in recent lifestyle between them: Senna died, her soul (spirit?) preserved in the lantern and then freed. So the Senna we have now is not exactly made of human flesh but of some kind of spectral matter reformed into and kept as a body through her control of the Black Mist. So in that sense her skin and her clothes both should be able to easily be repaired if they were damaged.

There can be a reason for all that Ruination locations. Demacia is a good spot to hide a magic thing (even if it's a corpse or a soul). What vayne and poppy saw is a sentinel of light grave/hideout maybe it can be one of the old master of the order who can tell where the other fragment of soul are. Add to it that every location there is one possessed person except in Demacia, coupled whit the road map of champion it fits. Karma is a symbiotic spirit and amalgamation of souls of Ionia that fuse with a willing worthy host. All these 1000 of soul might have bore a fragment or the queen even still have it. In any case Kamra knows a lot about reincarntion... Darius is the head of noxus so a free acces to the immortal bastion, and i don't think trying to possess swain who have a pact with a demon is a great idea.

I would love to see swain in one of the cinematics. Would be so cool if darius would have tried to kill swain or something and swain would have ripped that ghost crown off his head. That would actually show us that there are other powerful beings in runeterra besides Viego, who is the most powerdul character we have seen in a cinematic if I am not wrong. (Except for aurelion). Also I want to see azir sooooooo baaaaaadly. The ruination story is cool and all but I want cinematics of azir and xerath

I think his design is great. I just think a long coat would be better than a cut off punk rock leather jacket. Other than the crown he doesn't really look like a king. So yeah I don't want armor or something, his design is great, except for the jacket. I get severely triggered by that jacket. I don't like that jacket.

Maybe they didn't wanna give him a coat because we already got a buncha heroes wearing coats and capes. Viego's aesthetic makes him look young and honestly I think it's suitable for a king who messed up so bad... also people been criticising his obsession with her but it's a common thing in multiple cultures for spirits to get their lifelong obsessions amplified a shit ton of times after they die so I think before that he was just a literal punk foolish young guy who was pushed into ruling a kingdom he gave 0 shits for because his brother died and the only one he really cared for happened to die because of a position he never wanted... when he died by the hands of his zombified wife then all that understandable frustration got enhanced by a damn lot. I think.

44:20 I do think Poppi is a bit unrealistic, or rather uncanny. Mainly because it's somewhat weird that she has her head covered in fur, but her hair colour doesn't match either the fur colour nor the fur aesthetic. After all, there's always a semblance between the hair in the head and the hair in the body in humans, and animals don't really have hair as is (maybe horses and male lions are the only thing I can remember that do have hair and fur, but even in those cases both are quite similar, and blue and blonde aren't really near each other in the colour wheel)

Personally I dont mind any League character besides Seraphine as bad, Sylas e.g is great, so is sett, so is new Volibear and so is the Ruined King. But if we look at the characters Riot brought to the game during the last year, we have 3 sexy boys with Sett, Yone and the King, 3 sexy girls with Lillia, Samira and Seraphine and 2 somehow sexy monsters (Voli and Mundo). The only character who doesn't fit in this roster is Fiddlesticks. I think Riot is doing a great fault here. Even if visually appealing, sexy characters are more popular in general, the whole game lives from the fact, that it keeps being interesting. In a game, where mighty heroes fight monsters, most people would play as the hero. But if you have the chance to pick between playing a hero, who fight monsters, and a hero, who fight other sexy heroes, i think most people would pick the guy fighting versus monsters. So, League of Legends needs at least some ungeneric monsters to make a diversity happen. Otherwise, every new champion will become an success on its own but a failure for the game.

I feel like the way the scene unfolded is trying to tell us that Vayne was ready to shoot Poppy right then and there. There's an uncomfortably long period of hesitation and Vayne is not the one leading the movement after it, so she's probably assessing the situation, looking for a hostile movement on Poppy's part to consider her a foe, or an ally if otherwise. Poppy did what it could be understood as a "hostile movement" but Vayne's probably playing the badass part here, so she's remaining calm and letting Poppy do her thing before reaching for a conclusion. After Poppy defended her, she decided that a truce was probably the best course of action. She is, after all, at a massive numbers' disadvantage, so any help will do. You can't live long enough to see magic erradicated if you don't prioritize your targets correctly, after all.
