Yes! Going to find the black owned beauty supplies in my area! I avoid Korean beauty supply stores. I will go to target or Walmart first.

I rarely shop at beauty supply stores unless I need Dominican products because unfortunately they’re the only ones that’s usually carry products from other countries (I don’t trust Amazon for hair products) from the 25 in my area only one is black owned and they recently just opened up.

It's the quality for me! First of all, thank you for bringing this topic to your channel because it's something I speak about often and feel not enough people do. I love that you pointed out that these stores are NOT owned by POC. I feel like a lot of the times, people try to lump everyone who is "non-white" into one pot as though there aren't non-white people with oppressive systems in place that exploit black/brown communities. Or even black/brown people that exploit one another. In this day and age, there is far too much access to business ownership or even opportunities to support small businesses for us to continue relying on these institutions. I have chosen to boycott Korean beauty supplies and Vietnamese nail salons indefinitely. My goal is to support smaller brands, free lance nail techs or businesses that at least EMPLOY POC and reciprocate the financial support. It's insane that they are in these neighborhoods extracting all of the wealth without contributing to the local economy. Nevertheless, thanks for posting. Will definitely share to my audience.

Also, I think it's crazy that the government allows this while the Korean government does not.

I don’t necessarily fault anyone for wanting or trying to make money and a living but to purposely monopolize an industry and to gate-keep access to those who the industry makes all of its money from is bothersome and a major issue. I’m not surprised the government doesn’t have an oversight on this matter because they rarely ever have oversite on any industry (in this video I go into detail kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYTOd3-wq8eXmZI ). Thank you for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed the video 💖

Wow, you’ve blown my mind again. The knowledge you’re dropping is 2023 is amazing. There are no black beauty supplies where I live. I shop at Sally’s or target bc the Korean beauty supply is too expensive. The owner is really nice but the prices are a no no for me.

I’m trying to put 👏🏽out👏🏽that👏🏽content🤣🤣🤣 thank you 🙏🏼. I wish I had a Sally’s by me it’s sooooo far. If I’m trying to get Dominican products unfortunately I have no choice I have to go to a beauty supply store. The one black owned beauty supply by me doesn’t carry stuff from other countries just stuff from the US. I have an Indian beauty supply by me to they have the fancy brands I be like 😍 when I walk in there.

@@TheAbxgirl the person I’m currently “talking” to (🫠) is middle eastern and he told me that they (middle easterns) will set up shop and open multiple shops with in a few block radius just to have dominance in the neighborhood so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not the same with beauty supply stores

Otro vídeo buenísimo. Nunca entendí porque era el caso. En Inglaterra son los indios que dominan el mercado.
