This is great! Unfortunately, for those like me who have the old Sophono Alpha I (M) magnets screwed to our skulls, with non-working devices, it really sucks. Even if my device did work, my hearing has decline so much it still would not work. Devices like these are so expensive and are becoming outdated regularly. Meanwhile, I have 2 magnets attached to my skull by 5 screws that are useless. 😥

BONEBRIDGE is an "active" bone conduction implant, which means the audio processor sends digital information to the implant, and the implant implant sends vibrations directly to the bone. This is in contrast to a "passive" bone conduction implant, where vibrations start in the audio processor and are sent through the skin. Also, the SAMBA 2 audio processor delivers outstanding hearing outcomes according to a recent study.
