Titan, been following you for a while and despite being an old guy I would love to get into machining. I worked for a local sharpening shop and did a lot of grinding. That being said, I think the biggest obstacle to overcome is the cost of the equipment. How can someone overcome the massive cost of startup?

I ground chrome plate.. In a center grinder for twenty years.. On the outer diameter. There's a lot of tricks. I did landing gear parts In the aerospace industry.. Parts that were Couple. Tenths tolerance. It's nice to see you bringing new things in house. So you don't have to ship

Starting your own chrome shop is not easy and has MANY health hazards. I work for NASA as a Electroforming Engineer doing X-ray optics. I miss this level of ease when plating versus what I do now lol.
